Heavyweight boxing is garbage! The competition pool is low, don't use that to judge boxing as a whole.

I don't believe it exposes boxing but I do believe it exposes the heavyweight division and just how poor it really is. I've said for a long time this lot are just not that good.

It's just competitive, they are all around the same sort of level, there isn't a stand out, so there is some sort of debate which causes arguments and people are then invested in it and then blind themselves and believe it's better than what it is.

We lived through the Klitschko era when they were head and shoulders above everybody else and the rest were sort of all on the same level, well in my opinion it's like that now but without the Klitschkos.

When old man Klitschko who was on the slide is going 12 with Fury and dragging AJ to the brink defeat, while those two were in or entering their primes.. says it all really.

If Deontay Wilder KOs Fury, the competition pool is down to zero...
We enter an era of Absolute Tyranny ala Joe Louis Bum of the Month Era...

Of course weak disagreeable people will suffer, that is the whole point...
Otherwise what is the point of subjugating...

NFL-NBA weaklings are in the NFL-NBA because they are can't survive a jab from Clarissa, let alone from a male heavyweight Champion

No. DW is a unicorn. If this was so easy we`d have seen it by now. Give that man the respect he deserves.

How much of a global star do you want him to be?

He's HW champion of the world and a multi millionaire.

He could retire today and never have to do another day's work in his life.

NBA > Boxing though, all those other professions is what boxers want to escape from so they succeeded.

NBA simps exist to hand their money to pimps who prepared dark hair/cream skin contrast bubble butt future wives waiting for them

History doesn't know NBA...its is a low dimension sport for drunk masses.

Boxing, especially the Heavyweight Champion, is the hands-on Alpha male of the planet.

Jack Dempsey, Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano, Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson....

Namees that are bigger than any athlete & in many cases nations...

Rocky Marciano did largely the same thing. Bonecrusher Smith didn't start Boxing until his 20's too. If you've got the big punch Heavyweight Boxing offers significant shortcuts.

They didn't want to fight. They are not Fighters. You are never, ever going to make a Fighter out of someone who has no desire to do it.

IDK bro, Michael Jordan is just as transcendental as Ali IMO, you can ask anyone on the planet about him and they'll have heard of him. Even guys like Kobe or LeBron are huge globally.

Michael Jordan is known worldwide as the Model-Biz owner with the great smile, he was marketed based on that.

The sport of eating Burgers & French Fries in McDonalds is much popular & respected inside the USA & Worldwide.

The spread of McDonalds was more natural than the subsidized NBA (serves a temporary purpose)

Wilder needs to beat Fury & then Joshua in order to expose Boxing.

who did he take that strap off of again?
    Styrvirne?!
    That is not exposing boxing.

Well said. Wilder is talented in his own way. Some say the hardest puncher ever. Even if not, he's up there.

There are different ways to do it due to different body types, sizes, ... . Wilder has found a way to be effective using the tools he has.

He has pretty fast hands, long arms and a strong will to win which is something champions have.

I dont think it exposes boxing. It is just how it is. Power is the great equalizer.

A lot of you act like boxing is a game of top trumps. Sure Wilder has glaring technical flaws, but he utilises his natural gifts pretty well and is effective, that is all that matters, whether it looks pretty or not is irrelevant. George Foreman was hardly a technical boxer, but he made it work. It's about getting results, and on any given night Wilder can knock anyone out in the division.
