Yeah I would favour Donaire to win probably by TKO but it would be a calculated risk for Maloney and a win would propel him big time. I remember most thought Donaire wouldn't make it past the first round of the WBSS and I believe in the second round Tete was favoured to beat him but he pulled out. Also Maloney Rodgriguez was a close fight and I think there were a lot of experts expecting Rodgriguez to give Inoue a tough fight.

Camo leaving Rushton tells you something, I didn't realize that Kim was a boxing trainer I thought he was only strength and conditioning. I thought that team Horn would want to keep Camo for sparring seeing as though he has fought Tszyu Jnr. I think @Sandman_ is right team Horn is in meltdown to many big egos in the camp. Tszyu Jnr's team are pro's the Russians know what they are doing I think that they see Horn as an easy mark, they are already in his head.

That clown Rushtons arrogance will be his undoing can't believe Horn can't see him for what he is, at least Tszyu will bring his circus to an end I believe. I hope Dennis Hogan finds himself a new trainer he's still got a few fights left in him

The ref giving Horn a reprieve to check the cut was the "sweep the leg" moment in the 2nd MZ fight.

Wonder what they have in stall for Tszyu if he can get the ascendancy.

Even before that happened Horn was fighting so dirty and never came close to losing a point it was ridiculous. Tszyu Jnr will need to be prepared for Horn's dirty tactics hopefully they insist on a competent international referee who won't be corrupted.

I'd like to see promoters bring Murata to Australia to fight Horn.

We're only sending three blokes to the Olympic qualifiers? That's interesting. The qualification process didn't seem as onerous as four years ago so it surprises me that we're sending that few.

What about that Light Heavy we had - Clay Waterman? I thought he won something recently.

In saying that, it used to annoy me when we would send big teams to the Olympics & not a single one of them had a snowflake's chance in hell of winning a medal.

I think the worst year for that was 2004. We sent virtually a full team with a representative in nearly every division & didn't take the only fighter in the country with a medal chance. I pretty much gave up on amateur boxing in this country after that.

Those qualifiers in China will be worth following though. Particularly the fortunes of our Super Heavy, Justis Huni.

I have a theory that he's a H/W prodigy - phenomenally good at a very young age. If that's right, Olympic gold will be ours.

Good luck to all the boys (and girls of course!). I expect all three of our blokes to qualify for Tokyo during the tournament.

Yeah jupps Jackson got some talent. Bit if a dark horse. Very long and speedy.

I think he is out with a shoulder ailment for some time. So he may look at turning pro after he heals you would think because Huni looks to be the man at SHW.

As I'm drizzling my pork ribs with beer on the Barbie I thought about circus Ruston 2 fights in a row he should have stopped because his cash cow was getting irreversible brain damage and I'm wondering what's he gonna do when Tim busts that eye open and starts picking Horn apart humiliating him with power shots looking at the ref from time to time to save what's left of Horns frontal lobe will Ruston step up as a man and save him?
