They may be meeting with Usyk to scare Pulev into a better deal.

Pulev is very likely the first opponent

Actually the best way to build up to an even bigger fight is to have the first fight. Usyk will be competitive and the subsequent rematch will be big. Usyk fighting price and the white rhino on undercards wont do **** for him becasue he's probably not going to knock them out nor look like Muhammed Ali in the process. Im all for it. All the soccer fans need is Bellew telling them on SKy sports that Usyk's the real deal.

now Butterball Ruiz can fight Pulev for the vacant title! Usyk will have to chase Joshua around like Ruiz did in the rematch but at least Usyk will let his hands go and could catch Joshua on that tender spot which is his entire melon head!

    Glass Mandibles Exist...

    it's Irrefutable!!

Very little for AJ's resume? Granted Pulev will probably be AJ's sixth best opponent he hasnt beaten but Pulev is better than anyone than Wilder has beaten as of yet in his career.

It would intreseting to see how AJ deal with arguably the guy with the best jab in the division.

If usyk vs AJ happens, AJ cant try and out box Usyk like he did aginst Parker and Ruiz. AJ would have to take the fight to him and look to take him out.

the Body Builder will be on his bicycle... Joshua knows the durable guys Usyk has KTFO have better chins than he does!!

It'll be a Waldo trained Joshua doing the Octopuss Strategy to try to coast to a London Stadium Unanimous Victory by JAB JAB JAB GRAB HOLD and wait for the biased referee to remove Joshua's Tentacles from Usyk so Usyk cant hit him back on his tender head!

Better than anyone Wilder has beaten? I personally consider Ortiz, both I & II as better wins than Pulev. And I fecking despise Wilder :D

I might have gone a little overboard with my Pulev critisicm, but the point was: Usyk would be a MUCH better scalp for Joshua. Surely you won’t disagree with that?

Pulev's resume is better than Ortiz.

I totally agree Usyk would be the better fight though.

It's all gonna end in disappointment for that scrawny Usyk and his eurofans. Watch what happens when a roided up weight lifter freak, cuts his precious cruiserweight face with a punch. I noticed Chazz Witherspoon marked him up pretty good. They needed the make up artist to hide it when Usyk went to after fight press conference. It's one thing taking punches from big hitting cruiser weights, big punching heavyweights is another matter! Lol

That’s a good fight because of Usyk’s obvious skills & AJ’s vulnerability yet he still has the size advantage & it is his natural weight division.

i think it’s 50/50 haven’t seen Usyk establish himself or Really acclimate himself into the division yet.

    Great Fight.

Just scanned their resumes, and I have to admit defeat, you are right. Forgot about some pretty decent opposition for Pulev pre-Klitschko.

Pulev would be a fine scalp indeed.

Usyk is cashing out against AJ. His first fight he got a bit ruffed up, against AJ, he will get beat down hard.

Pulev will not be the Pulev we know, he will come determined to KO Joshua (like all fighters from now on), even a Heavyweight Journeymen, will stick around & keep looking for the KO punch. Andy Snickers Ruiz showed them its possible. Losing to anybody else ends Joshua career, Usyk is the lightest puncher possible, with the best resume.

Another advantage is that Usyk is so confident of his boxing skills, he will actually be less reckless which will play right into the hands of Joshua. AJ size-reach advantage should be able to neutralize whatever skills advantage Usyk has...

Hearn knows what he is doing

That would be the best approach from Pulev. However, he absolutely NEEDS to protect himself better, than the last time he went guns blazing against a big guy from round 1 (Klitschko).

Marinating fights doesn't work very well in HW division since these big guys get KOed left and right.
Maybe that's why Hearns wants the big money now. He is not an idiot.
