Had the fight been for higher stakes he wouldn't have quit? It was for his WBO Heavyweight Title.

I’m referring to the system you used to determine weather or not that long list of opponents were ranked or unranked.

In the past you have stated the following here.
1.Lennox was more marked up at the end of the fight than Vitali was . I posted post fight photos of both.
2.Vitali's cuts were caused by illegal means,Lewis scraping his gloves across Vitali's face . Both cuts were caused by
right hand punches. One cut required over 50 stitches the other 14.

3.Vital wasn't fight fit. He was due to be on the under card and actually went into training before Lewis.

FYI The list of fighters that came back from a 4-2 deficit to win fights is an even longer one!lol
Buddy McGirt went the championship distance with the same injury against Whitaker they were at level weights with no physical advantages to McGirt and McGirt was not in front at any time. Danny Williams dislocated his arm in a fight ,continued and ko'd his opponent.
Vitali elected to quit and surrender his title to a man he was beating.
A man he outweighed by 34lbs and at 5 inches shorter he towered over. I don't condemn him for it,but I do condemn you who always, in his hate Jack Johnson threads says he quit in later fights, ignoring the fact that Johnson was 48 & 50 at the time.
That isnt just employing a double standard it is blatant hypocrisy of the worst kind !

I give credit for VK 's comeback and besting the very limited but nevertheless active Peter.........but the only reason Peter is mentioned because he went life and death with his brother, otherwise a unskilled caveman.

In the end, arm puncher Vk was not a wasted talent, he went as far as he could go with his talent , he was just not good enough to climb higher.

    Proof ?

His resume is full of complete washed up has beens or never weres.......Vk exactly stepped up twice and lost twice.......TKO9 and TKO6

VK has not ONE fresh, undefeated ranked threat on his record.......... Lewis with one foot already in the Pensioner Home exposed him as a limited arm puncher with poor defense because his lean back style did not work against a fighter who brought it to him, Lewis literally could not miss even if he tried while ripping his paperskin like a Thanksgiving Turkey carving.

For reference, that version of old Lewis would have been massacred by a prime Foreman/Tyson/Bowe, no question.

Inaccurate. Johnson and Solis were ranked. Chisora would have been but The Ring respected the Helenius verdict which nobody agreed with.

(This is off monthly rankings not annual.)

It’s been hashed over several times on this forum. Plus I followed Solis intensely and thought he was headed for the top so I remember his name in the rankings.
