I mean, I have Colbert winning seven out of the twelve, and a pretty good case could be made for eight. Colbert may not have impressed (though, honesly, he didn't really have to come behind like Machado did) but he's still a clear winner on my card.

Chris Colbert won this. Some points:

Jezreel Corrales is a very tricky opponent and the holding was excessive from him. He is not an easy opponent for anybody. In the lower weights the prime age for fighters is probably around 28 which is Corrales age now.

Chris Colbert will get better with experience and fights. He needs to improve his accuracy, output and how to cut of the ring. He also needs to throw higher volume combinations because that is where the speed kills.

He's Ladarius Miller level.:deal: And thoroughly average in every possible way.

He won more clearly than Miller did. He may not be elite, but he can reach world class, I think.

By a round, maybe. He's not going to amount to anything.

Neither man is anything special, I don't see Colbert able to beat any of the champions at 130. Including the 32 WBA versions of the champion.

Lmao PBC put the graphic up with Colbert as the champion before Lennon even finished reading the winner.

Oh yeah, I wasn't saying it'd be a robbery, just anticipating wider cards than appropriate. Which the 117-110 pair do (just about) seem to be, as I saw Corrales sweep the 5th-7th (pretty clearly IMO). I missed the first 3½ and then was only half paying attention on my phone in rounds 8-11 (walking home from the subway in a snowstorm), but it seems a little far-fetched that Corrales didn't take a single round outside that run of three, given the way most of the cards here read.

116-111 doesn't strike me as beyond the pale given the array I've seen.

Given the PBC reputation, I was honestly worried about more in the neighborhood of like 118-109 x3 (or even wider)

Which sucks, as BK used to be my dude on ESPN. I don't remember him being half as much a shill as he is now. In fact he was usually the refreshing breath of fresh air contrasting with Joe & Teddy.

J-Rock and Rosario are both Aries. This is going to be a ghoulish FOTY candidate and a bloodbath.:deal:
