Im sure this is a painful moment for us all. In fact @PhillyPhan69 and I are on suicide watch. But beyond that. Personally I believe the stoppage was premature, a champion should go out on his back, Williams was shaken but not dropped.

From a man with a dazzling upset of Jarret Hurd to a man defeated in a dazzling upset, I will still define myself as a fan of him. Opinions on the stoppage?

It was a proper stoppage. Otherwise he'd be in an ambulance right now.

Fair stoppage. No way JRock was recovering from that. Estevez just saved him from further, unnecessary punishment.

Stoppage was fine; the way he was looking I was actually keeping an eye out for a towel.

I feel you two. I really like the kid and always will, win or lose. He's flawed but highly skilled in many areas, great kid, and he's from the northeast. All in. It will wear off in a few days, hang in there fellas, and as usual, he was a class act afterwards, in defeat. How can anyone root against this kid?

I've been one of J-Rock's biggest hypers on this forum, I hate seeing him lose, but that was a legit stoppage. I have zero issue with it. He was in really bad shape, no need for him to take any more punishment.

He had no legs whatsoever, he wasn't intelligently defending himself, he was getting caught flush, he barely got up from a non knockdown.........................the fight was over

FWW -- I wouldn't refresh the general forum page or you will probably see Zakman's new pride and joy of a thread.

Id love to see someone shatter Zakman's glass jaw.

I was anticipating a brutal KO coming very shortly had the ref not waved it off and I'm glad he did. There was a lot of time left in the round and J-Rock was badly hurt and I noticed that Rosario actually composed himself and decided to pick his shots a little better after getting a bit wild after scoring the KD.

Any stoppage that happens while a fighter is on their feet is premature IMO

In fact I don't even really agree with refs being able to stop fights but that's a topic for another day.........
