Manny by stoppage. I know that welterweight wasn’t Manny’s natural weight class and in fact Mark was pretty good there. But Pac is just a much higher class of fighter
Breland was a really good boxer with speed and power but he doesn't have the strenght, chin or stamina to keep up with a Prime Manny.
I'd pick Manny, but I think it wouldn't be as easy as everyone else thinks. The physical advantages Breland has would take Manny some time to figure out how to overcome, but he'd do it. But it wouldn't be that easy. Of course under amateur rules, Breland wins easily by decision.
I don't see it been a blow out either, Breland was no great fighter but there's been a lot worse at welter. Pac man would struggle initially with Breland s reach. Swerving in and out he'd close the gap, maybe taking some shots to start with. But once he had mark hurt then there be no escape. Pac-Man by 7 round ko.
Breland not getting any credit. He went toe to toe with Aaron Davis who while not as skilled as PAC is stronger. Breland is 6'1 and PAC is what 5'6/5'7 so that height advantage is going to trouble PAC. Also Starling was skilld at getting on the inside and he had his nose broken before he was able to get to Breland. Watch Breland vs Hearns sparring and you can see Breland could box. PAC would be the favorite of course but this wouldnt be a walk in the park.
