He got kicked in the head ...its not a dive.

lmao. So a guy willing to get hit can't take a dive.

Cowboy got beat down. Plain and simple. Where the hell are you people getting the idea that it's a dive?

He got kicked flush in the face and then took a lot of shots on the ground. There is nothing suspicious about the stoppage.

Conor brings more waaaaay money than anyone. After Khabib destroyed him they were desperate to find a way to make people forget it. A 10 second KO fitted the bill. Cowboy didnt even try and defend. Now watch them use this to say how he deserves the shot against Khabib over someone like Justin. Transparent as ****

Your post should be satire. But... its serious.

And youve taken a position where nobody can prove you wrong and youre going to think what youre going to think. But its absurd.

You might as well quit watching fighting if youre gonna label this a dive.

If you think this was a dive, when a shot, no chin veteran gets head kicked and finished in the first round by one of the sports most prolific strikers... than literally no fight should have validation.

Youre simply having an emotional reaction to, in all honesty, a pretty expected outcome.

Yeah. That's total BS how Gaethje is being ****ed over. Plus he's the worst matchup for Khabib. Absolutely transparent politics.

Yes UFC put Cerrone in there to give Conor a great chance on his big return. The same as we see in boxing literally every week or two.

However, if you think Cowboy took a dive you're a complete idiot. He had his nose shattered, followed by a clean kick to the jaw and a straight left to the side of the head, before being beaten badly on the ground for longer than most referees would allow.

It was a soft comeback fight for Conor. Nothing more, nothing less. What's the controversy? It was a spectacular finish too. He'll now have to repeatedly fight the best of the best, as is the way in UFC. Unlike boxing, where we repeatedly get mismatches.

Did look a bit suspicious to me.

that head kick didnt have much weight behind it, more like a toe slap

So me standing by my opinion, is now I can't be proven wrong. OK buddy. I've been watching boxing, MMA, and kickboxing for a long time. Gotten to know fighters and their style. This fight was just so off to me. Hell I'm not even a Connor hatter. Whether he wins or lose has zero meaning to me. I've seen to many cherry picks where the guy has zero chance, got paid really well and does next to nothing to win. To me that is a dive.

This the unfortunate side of the sport I like. From bad judging to fights where guys go down without getting punch, though not in this fight.

Hoped that would go longer but outstanding performance from Mcgregor who looked dialed in all week and despite how some may try and diminish the quality of opponent it's still a good quality win that get's Mcgregor on track for another title fight before the end of year. I'd like to see him have another fight before getting it but UFC will likely give him title fight next with Khabib,Masvidal or Usman

The shotcallers at the UFC arent half as stupid as you think they are if you seriously think they orchestrated a dive so that they could get 3 or 4 more fights out of McGregor.

If you actually knew how idiotic what your insinuating is, for a billion dollar machine that just had one of its highest earning years ever, without McGregor, to risk its partnerships with ESPN and Reebok, to orchestrate dives, its just ridiculous.

You guys act like they are a fledgling company that needs McGregor or their going out of business.

The UFC knows how fragile a fighter is. They know Connor isnt a sure thing.

He could very well retire after Khabib dominates him again.

They would be stupid to fix fights for anyone, let alone a McGregor that possibly only has 2 or 3 fights left.
