I watched some of his latest IFL interview yesterday. He said that he doesn’t take medication and says the gym is his medication. His message is usually ‘talk to someone’, which is generic and perhaps he should add more variety to his mental health rhetoric. Arguably though, he’s talking about it and that in itself is fantastic. He’s high profile, still active in his chosen sport and so he can normalise it as a subject. I’ve personally moved on from all that talk from him and I glaze over a bit when I hear him mention it...but someone somewhere will be inspired by it so who am I to knock it.
I think that’s fine but just talking about it is one thing. His message seems to be ‘you can get better,’ which is great, but perhaps if I was ill I’d think ‘how?’ His message then seems to fall away.
His message is to seek medical advice as soon as possible and talk to someone which is the correct advice to offer as broadsword. He said for him personally, training keeps his mind focused and setting short term goals keeps him on track. Once again you are twisting the narrative to your advantage and I would suggest you reach and speak to someone Tony because you behaviour is also indicative of personality disorder although of a slightly different trait to Tyson Fury.
They are all under a lot of pressure. I have seen recent video's of Tyson looking relaxed and others of him looking twitchy. To take from Big Shane's comments, it was interesting to hear that they feel he may have got the wrong instructions from the corner during the last fight. It seems they have sided with Freddy Roach and felt a more experienced trainer could have spotted vulnerability's developing throughout the fight rather than Davidson's safety first approach. It seems they have got things right regarding media exclusion and family exclusion until after the event and they confirmed my earlier comments that Sugar Hill and Coach Lee are there to add to Tyson's game not change it. I am almost certain they are working on counter punching as Wilder is there for the picking when he he is doing his front stroke swimming practice.
I'd guess about a year after the Klitschko fight but shows how far he has come to be back at the top of the game!
This is the sort of Fury i can get on board with. When he is talking a load of **** i cant listen to him.
This content is protected Sugar Hill backs Tyson Fury's Kronk stories, he also said he was in the sauna with Fury and Wlad.
