Croatian heavyweight prospect Filip Hrgovic (10-0, 8 KOs) is eager to face former undisputed cruiserweight champion of the world and current WBO #1 heavyweight contender Oleksandr Usyk (17-0, 13 KOs). Hrgovic, who is expected to get back to the ring on March in United Kingdom, thinks he can beat Usyk right now despite the lack of experience. "Why wouldn't we face each other to determine who is better - me or Usyk? I think I can beat him. Anyway, I hope I can fight Usyk in the next year if not in this one. I'm sure our paths will cross at some point. By the way, I'm going to visit Kyiv at the end of the January. I would like to look into Usyk's eyes to understand wheather he wants to fight me. I'd also like to meet with Wladimir Klitschko, because he helped me a lot when I was in his training camp. I dream to replicate achievements of the man, who ruled the division for a decade", - said Filip Hrgovic to The Champion. That could be a great fight, but in my opinion, down the road. Right now I'd like to see Usyk in against a top 15 fighter, then lower top 10, then top 5, leading to a championship fight. Do you think that Filip Hrgovic is ready to fight the top ten type fighters yet?
''Who's Usyk?'' --Dillian Whyte Now ''The Gypsy King'' says that he won't fight Usyk. He says that he has three fights left and that he won't fight him even if he beats AJ. He also said the HW champion should be from Britain or America and nowhere else. Granted you can't take anything Fury says seriously just like you can't take anything Bootleg D says seriously albeit for different reasons: The former is bipolar and changes his mind every hour and the later is delusional beyond words. Fury talks loads of crap about loads of guys. The way he talks about Dubois is interesting. He knows he prob has the beating of the top other guys at the moment but that will all change when his reflexes start dropping off and these young guns start coming for his neck.
Fury just says whatever he feels like depending on his mood /who’s been nasty to him on social media I don’t think he will fight usyk however
I'd be interested to see it but from a casual's perspective think it would be seen a terribly tedious tactical affair.
It would stink the joint out for sure, I would envisage a draw simply on two jabs landing each per round
I reckon Uysk's jabs to the body would score less points than Fury's jabs to the head but that it would be a horrible fight to score.
hrgovic g ets destroys if it takes place in the next 12 months... may be different if he watts 36-48 months.
