Just a couple of questions....... 1...When did Floyd apply for a TUE for that 750 ml of saline?? The first anyone knew of it was when USADA caught him receiving it in his own home. That " My urine was dark err very dark" was his excuse in an interview. Everyone knows no one would need to have750 ml of saline to enable him to provide a sample ROFL Drink a pint of water wait 5 mins & youve got one 2... Where did the saline & equipment needed come from in Floyd's house?? The NSAC's own rules say Saline must be administered in a medical facility under medical supervision AFTER obtaining a TUE! NOT obtain a TUE 21 DAYS AFTER THE EVENT!!!!! 3 ... what happened to your "detailed accounts" the NSAC & USADA supposedly issued?? I certainly never saw any neither did anyone else 4 ... So Pac was an idiot for ticking the wrong box huh??. At least Pac followed the rules by ticking a box Now show us where Floyd ticked the box PRIOR to receiving the saline Pimp everyone knows that saline was not a PED . Saline can be used to mask previous PED abuse for CHEATERS!!! In the words of the doctor I asked he said " If he had 750 ml of saline in that short time he'd have been peeing like a racehorse not just enough for a sample". Lets here from you on these please. I'm waiting for your answers. Then just let the matter drop Nothing can be done about it today it was almost 5 years ago. The NSAC NEVER proved him innocent they merely covered his ass AGAIN!!!!! like many times before. Lets here your explanations though should be hilarious
Saline is not a PED, but it is a masking agent. Masking agents work very well taken before a test to cover up PED use. The whole point is to dilute the **** enough to make the PED undetectable.
All the same, Floyd is a worthy winner, just as he would have been 10 years ago. But then I also feel Pac has a decent claim to this decade too. That's how good these two where.
I say this as a Floyd and Ward fan (because my reasoning for not selecting him would be the same), IMO it is senseless to have a fighter of the decade that wasn't active the entire decade and on top of that retired 2 1/2 years before the decade even ended. Those 2 criteria should at least be met objectively. I'd rather Pac or Canelo (who everyone on here knows I'm not a fan of) win over either.
Ray Leonard and Tyson weren't active for all of the 80s. Roy and Pernell weren't active for all of the 90s (or Pea was totally washed up by the end) Mayweather wasn't active for all of the 00s That isn't a realistic criterion.
Don't think Pac cares too much about this whole Decade talk. Floyd only cares about money. So really let it go, let it go.
Floyd was so afraid with pacman. pacman is just the size of gervonta davis almost the same size with mickey garcia but floyd still resorted to iv fluid to take advantagea although he is away bigger than pacman. Floyd is 5"8 with 72 reach while pacman is 5" with 67 reach. Can you spot the difference? Pacman should be the fighter of the decade because he is the man who take riskier challenges by fighting welterweight div for over a decaded now beyond his natural weight . Did floyd fight above his natural weight for over a decade ? Answer is definitely not. WhyWhy? Simply the chances of him lossing is greater.
shadow111, I was looking more from the perspective of the majority of the fans. Most people saw it as a comfortable win for Floyd. There was no real public demand for a rematch. Oscar will do anything to protect his most prized asset. Cotto was never going to keep the title had he have won it. He'd never have fought GG. Everyone knew that. Go and look back at some of their old interviews. It was a joke.
It should be taken into account with the other relevant factors. Using Mike as an example is silly, as he turned pro in 1985. Ray had a detached retina. Roy was active all throughout the 90's, fighting every year. Floyd wasn't injured. Manny was deserving as he fought 17 times and pushed himself to the max.
