Joshua has revealed he has started negotiations over a winner takes all clash against Deontay Wilder this year. He in wants to fight Wilder even if he wins or loses v Fury in February, how does AJ`s left hand compare to Wilder`s right in terms of power and accuracy?
Joshua is a more accurate puncher, and a far more intelligent boxer and better all-around fighter. Wilder is a one-trick pony.
How do you start negotiations without knowing the winner of next month's fight? I'm all for his talking about it, but there's no way there's any serious negotiating happening.
He`s stated he wants to fight Wilder even if he loses to Fury, and Wilder would need to fight AJ if he loses to Fury.
Solely answering the question at hand, not who would win between the two or who's the better boxer: I'd rather have Wilder's right hand than Joshua's left hand.
Joshua is far superior fighter in pretty much every way to wilder. But then who isn't..... It doesn't matter how good you are or how good your left hand is, wilder just needs to land once in 12 rounds and it's done. So yeh wilders right hand doesn't have an equal, its freakish power.
Wilder is the faster puncher as well. Joshua's punches aren't as fast. Speed will be a big factor in their fight
That is very tough because Wilder is quick even though his technique is a little amateurish. Joshua would have to wait and use his jab and soften up Wilder for the punch. I don't think the left would stop Wilder, I would see the right also.. It would right hand against right.
But that trick is better than AJs arsenal. I look for DW to knock him out. AJ has been dropped and hurt several times showing clearly he doesn't have the best chin so I cant imagine him surviving a straight shot from DW which is going to land at some point. DW isn a 6 foot nothing fat guy that AJ can just stay away and out of harms way for 12 rounds.
Wilder isn't Ruiz. Ruiz has better punching technique and throws much better combos. Ruiz's most dangerous punch against AJ's were hooks. The only thing that Wilder has over Ruiz is power and height and length. Ruiz's chin looks much better too. So Wilder being able to put AJ away in one punch, while true, is not that important when AJ can probably do the same and is the better boxer. Whoever lands a bomb first wins. At least AJ has shown he can take a flush right hand from Wladimir and get up and win. Wilder has never shown he can take that kind of punch.
