Besides me? I think hes a fighter who has come into his prime and things have come together nicely for him. The blend of speed, athleticism, amatuer and professional experience makes him a formidable opponent. Much more dangerous than hes regarded.
I'm a big fan and I love watching him fight. For whatever reason he just doesn't get the respect I don't get it.
I think everyone realizes he's talented....but we really have no idea how good he is. Uzcatequi was a real fight. Underdog win. That was one of the better fights that year to be honest. Since then we've gotten two utterly stupid fights. Mike Lee was a horror show and now Feigenbutts (?) or whoever the hell this is .... I'm not sure PBC ever makes Plant v. Benavidez. There's no excuse in delaying this fight. It can't marinate while both these guys fight bums as 50-1 favorites twice per year.
I support most American fighters you banned alt troll. 13 posts, yet you claim to know me?? Thanks for exposing yourself dummy.
I rate him highly...I wish he had a bigger punch, and I really don't need to hear the story about his daughter again, but I like his style and ability.
168 is full of great talent. That being said, I'd rank Callum 3rd or 4th. I don't know if he beats Ramirez or Smith. Plant vs Saunders would be a good one imo.
I think most people notice that he's talented. The problem is that we don't see him fight often or against good opponents. With Haymon, he could fall into the trap of fighting 1-2 times a year against mediocre opponents and never making it to the very top. Just enough to stay relevant, but not enough to become star. We've seen it time and time again with Haymon fighters... and that could happen to Plant.
