Some people say he’s the hardest hitting heavyweight of all time but he seems to have problem knocking elite heavyweight boxers out ( besides Luis Ortiz)

No, the guy’s power is the real deal like Holyfield. His boxing skills were so badly exposed by Fury but it didn’t matter because his power bailed him out to earn a draw.

Yes. Just look how he must throw to KO his opposition compared to AJ or Wlad.

They just needd 50-75% of their total power to be effective. But they also priorities other aspects of their game.

On a punch machine i would NOT pick Wilder to win.

Seems like his power is for real. Seems like he has gotten better at using it. That last right hand he hit Ortiz with was picture perfect.

    Yes.

But that doesn't mean he can't punch, or that it's not legit. It means he's not the hardest puncher ever.

Not as overrated as that big stiff bodybuilder. Couldn't see a 20 stone blob going 12 rounds with the devastating bronze bomber! Lol Joshua is ripe for the pickings!

The only true way to gauge how hard he hits is to experience it for yourself. You’re likely the kind of guy who’s chin is made of the same stuff found in Holyfield’s beard and Wayne McCulloughs skull.

50% to do what? What fights are you talking about? Are you aware of the difference of getting a ref stoppage vs putting someone out cold and twitching ? What does a punch machine have to do with anything?

A punching machine? I’m sure a baseball pitcher could probably get a higher “score” than most boxers. (I do get what you are saying in terms of measuring their actual power)

But being in a ring with a moving target, Wilder has to wait for an opening and then generate that sort of power in a split second. So it wouldn’t matter if AJ could hit a machine harder, because he is not capable of doing it to real opponents.

All-time?, no way. But his power is definitely serious. I can't see anyone that could stand to a flush shot from him without at least getting seriously rocked.

    Imagine if he could box.

His power is ATG status. He's convinced me after Breazeale. Arguably the hardest hitter of all time and undoubtedly in the top 3.
If he KO's Fury, and possibly KO's Parker (or any other fighter with a renowned chin), then I think he's 100% hardest hitter of all time in my book.
