May 9th, probably UK. Not official yet, but headed there.

Munguía is ranked WBC #2 and WBO #1 at middleweight, and Williams is close behind in both org's rankings (WBC #4 and WBO #7). Neither is ranked by the WBA or IBF. We can expect this will be framed as either an eliminator for a mandatory crack at either Jermall Charlo for the WBC or Demetrius Andrade for the WBO title.

    They have one common opponent:

    • Liam Smith (holds two controversial victories over Williams in 2017, but for which the Welshman would be professionally undefeated; lost a UD to Munguía in 2018)

Munguía has a 2" height and 5cm (~2") reach advantage over Williams. They have scored a combined 45 stoppages in 60 bouts (75%).

Why would Jaime go to the UK to fight this scrub?
I'd be shocked if he did.

He would deserve to get robbed tbf, UK is the corruption capital of boxing

Probably because Warren has enough (quite justified) faith in Williams to pay Munguía (whose stock is rapidly plummeting after his last few performances) enough to lure him over? :nusenuse:

...and this goon doesn't last twelve against Williams for corruption to factor in, don't worry.

Where are you getting your info from?

I expect Jaime to get dq'd for punching lol

Ref will scrape Williams off the canvas and carry him to the corner himself

What do you mean "info"? Everything in that post you quoted was my personal opinion. You're not too bright, huh?

No, I didn't. That is per Williams himself. You worthless ****ing idiot. Follow along: when I said "that post you quoted" I meant the one to which you responded "Where are you getting your info from?" - not my OP. God you're dumb.

I would say Munguia beats him if they fight.

Williams has never been decisively beaten. Munguía in most folks' view deserved to lose to Hogan..

This would be the defining night in Williams career. I think he has the goods to win but I think the fight will be in the US, if it gets made.

Munguía has a great engine and an absolutely granite chin. Nobody is stopping him easily. The right hand spike hit him with at the end of the 3rd round would knock a horse. But he didn’t budge. Also Williams Achilles heel just might be tough hard man type attritional opponents. He had similar problems with Smith.

All that being said Williams has a great chance here if it happens.

Thought Munguia would be Andrades mando myself taking away any reason to fight Williams. Also GBP have dates to fill with few star names. I would be surprised if it happens
