Lol, Canelo fought ggg 2 times and Jacobs at 160, don't see what's your beef with Canelo at 160?? I'll tell you what Murata is a much better opponent than gggs next opponent and then Saunders enitre career

But it´s not, that is the issue.
The WBC has it´s 30, 14 and 7 day weigh ins.
IBF has it´s 10lb next day weigh in limit. Which they dropped for unifications because of Danny ****ing Jacobs.

Every country pretty much has it´s own rules and regulations. I get what you are saying but isn´t the 10lb rule a good thing? Just like fighters asking for additional testing?

Failed drugs tests, nonsense 155 catchweights, going back on a promise and vacating to wait out his biggest rival until he started aging and declining and controversial scorecards all happened during his time at middleweight.

If it was just a consistently applied rule then yes but when it's being weaponised to give a fighter previously infamous for massive weight cutting himself an advantage when it suits him it's a problem.

Lol Canelo fought Cotto Nov 2015, that's one month before 2016, the first fight took place in 2017, that's basically one year, how does a fighter "age" in just one year??? That sounds like bull.... to me...

If we get the super passive Murata that follows his opponent around, Canelo boxes his ears off and stops him late. If we get the super motivated, super aggressive, offense is his defense, throwing punches in bunches version that showed up against Brant in the rematch. Canelo, who I'm assuming will have to drop back down in weight by quite a lot, might be up against it here. If Canelo is sluggish, gasses or depleted from the weight cut, Murata could pull off the upset, and by stoppage.

I think Ryōta is the kind of guy that rises (or sinks) to his perception of an event's magnitude.

HNN was supposed to be an easy win, and (while most disagree with the verdict) he put in a tepid enough performance to lose on the official scorecards. In the rematch, fired up? Destroyed my Cameroonian pal. :ohno

Brant was supposed to be an easy win - and once more he got complacent, and lost (this one legitimately). In the rematch, fired up? Komban wa, Bravo. :sisi1

Canelo is clearly the biggest moment of his career - amateur or pro - and he'll know that, and bring his A game accordingly. I predict we get his best. Whether or not that's enough... :nusenuse:

    (though I certainly hope so)

What is with all the Murata hate? Haha.

He is solidly ranked, a proven commodity, and certainly not just an average world class fighter.

Better fight than Billy Ho Saunders.

So blocking punches with your face getting beat in the inside at your own game and getting countered all night is boxing someone's ears off?? Lmfao

No disrespect to Murata but before he does anything else for Ginger to prove he really is a MAN !! Let him fight GGG in MSG in a fair fight with no NSAC or Vegas corruption involved. Sad part is GINGER knows he cannot beat GGG without the blatant corruption which is why he refused GGG's offer
