You must be a newbie, Canelo already fought Trout Lara and Jacobs, who are the "prime young " fighters you are talking about?? Saunders has looked terrible in his last two fights and has never fought a top elite old or young.
Boo boo, charlo & BJS Are the only prime fighters left he is not avoiding them. Maybe Oscar is leaving those for last while lower risk money fights exist. murata in Japan is a bigger money fight then any of them. after GGG 3 , BJS will happen, then boo boo & then charlo down the road.
Dont hold your breath man Ginger hasnt got the balls to give GGG a fair fight away from Vegas the cess pit of boxing. Both Ginger & his predecessor Mayweather lacked the balls to fight fair when offered the protection of the State Commission
2 of the 3 highlighted above were in their prime and Canelo arguably lost to or at best should have been a draw. The other was far from his prime but schooled Canelo 10 rounds to 2. Admittedly Canelo was green then, but Floyd gave Canelo a life long lesson in boxing. Since those 3 fights Canelo hasn't fought a live champion since (minus Golovkin). From Kirkland to Kovalev the only live opponent Canelo fought was Golovkin, which again was shadowed with controversy because so many people had Golovkin well in front in that fight. I find it fitting that you critique 41 year old Pacquiaos resume against the 29 year old Canelo's. It really does tell the whole story.
None of the suggestions are tougher outs than Jacobs, GGG, and kovalev. Just cause one is prime don't mean he's good. These supposed young prime fighters are too afraid to fight each other lest they lose their place in the queue.

Nope, close fights, In the Trout fight the knock down made the difference, in the Lara fight, Lara gave the fight away for running the second half of the fight.
You aint got a clue how to score fights. If Lara lost that fight by running away then Mayweather LOST!! most of his thats how he fought every fight ROFLMAO Like I said you aint got a clue
Problem is he needs to be KO'd to lose and he also has a good chin and defence. So the only way to destroy this demon is to have a power puncher go in there and try to KO him as a strategy. They have to think like Andy Lee did about the potential GGG fight, train for a five round war, even if it's not how he'd ideally fight. So even if a fighter is prime, unless they're a KO artist, they probably won't be much good for this mission. Golovkin and Kovalev were too trusting and believed they could box to victory (Kovalev is a bit of a different story, but still). They had the power to go for the kill but they're naturally a little more patient because they do have good skill. Golovkin particularly should have just brawled in the second fight. Once fighters accept they're not winning unless they KO or at least KD the **** out of Canelo, nothing will change. Maybe someone flukes an SD, but it's basically giving the fight away trying to box Canelo in standard style now.
Oh look its the monthly GGG salty fan thread. I was begining to get worried they had gone back to their caves. Must be a tough life for GGG fans seeing The King have the balls to move up weight and make so much money unlike some cowards who are stuck at the same weight fighthing small guys
