agreed,, he just needs to fight the better fighters to become popular. Benavidez is the fight, he takes that I'll put him at 1 in the division

Why? Because he was gassing late and beat a guy less impressively than Korobov and Lonnie Thompson, who quite frankly schooled him.

No, I don't. He's going to be found out against the first opponent he faces that can cut the ring off well.

I think that he is an excellent fighter but I don't think that he can beat Benevidez.

He doesn't see the 6th round against either of them.

Precisely what I think of him. I said in another thread recently that Lionel Thompson was much more impressive against the one note and clumsy Uzcategui than Plant or Dirrell, meaning he could've been a world champ in a slightly different iteration of this universe. Shame really, 168 would be fun with a real slickster like him making a tough fight for any top contenders or champs.

I think he's pretty decent and is a talented boxer. How well he can apply that against the best remains to be seen. I still think Benavidez is the guy at 168

Hes the fastest fighter in the division. Possibly the fastest and quickest fighter north of 160. Defense is pretty solid. Gets good leverage on his punches. Effective with both hands.

He's the fastest, quickest fighter in an absolutely utterly worthless wasteland of a division. His defense is only solid because he's faced poor opposition who can't penetrate it, he has poor leverage on his punches and rarely gets anyone out of there that isn't a glass jaw of the highest order.

The best fighter in the division is Canelo, followed by John Ryder. They both beat him, as does Benavidez and Smith.

Can't wait till Benavidez gets his mitts on him and paddles his ass something evil.
