I am going to kind off miss it in a way, nothing beats the satisfaction of watching PPVs for a very reduced fee!!

Given the wide availability of technology these days, I get sad when boxthing fans on here post that they are listening to fights on the radio because they cannot afford the PPV and for the cohort of up to 1 million unsuspecting PPV mugths who get fleeced time and again.

Eh day was paid a fortune by the Saudis for the Saudi Stinker and there was an opportunity to give something back to the boxthing fans sticking that card on Sly Sports.

Tony Dosh PPV v The Meal Deal will be long remembered as 'The Shafted in Saudi'.

Thankfully our 'connections' give us a very generous discount

I always find these things baffling, it was never going to be a thing, it had no vehicle for promotion, people underestimate how important sky sports news, cricket/football are for Sky advertising their PPV's

BT are frequently advertising the Fury v Wilder fight before, during and after other live sports - will be a real game changer should they get their own Sports News channel at some stage.

I think news channels are dead now mate. Most people consume content via social media channels. Twitter/Instagram/Facebook. Haven't watched Sky Sports News for years. God awful channel.

Brilliant news, the way they pushed Eubank vs DeGale was a joke.

For general news yes as the channels such as Sky News and BBC have certain subjects requiring Govt vetting and approval before reporting - eg Terrorist attacks. Our news is probably on a par with North Korea regarding reporting restrictions on certain subjects.

No such restrictions on sports news but Sly Sports certainly do not have enough content for 4 hours per day never mind 24 hours. The same repetitive drivel every hour with the odd piece of breaking news.

It is used to sell subscriptions and reel in PPV mugths so it has a big advantage over BT for this objective.

This was no surprise you only have to look at the people in charge of sport at ITV and the names they signed to see why.

So exactly like they did before the first fight then. Still waiting for BT and FW to start revealing BT Box office PPV numbers.

Fook all Box Office Channels mate as the lower the number of PPV mugths the better.

Be thankful we have the technology to watch all the fights for the price of fresh air.

Talking of fresh air, i need to remind my neighbour to close his window on the 22nd Feb, as his curtains blowing in his windows obscures my viewing!!!
