Yes, he did pick him specifically, and every other fighter around that weight had the same option to go after him specifically. The money was there, the recognition was there, all that was missing was the balls to take that gamble. How many are taking that kind of gamble?

    Er let’s think
Berbertiev and Bivol instead of kolalev
Callum Smith or Billy joe instead of rocky ****ing fielding
Canelo might be a really good fighter and could be a great fighter but he is tainted in favoured judges , drugs cheat ,fighting in Vegas when it’s a difficult fight , to be ranked as an all time great .

you are right, it was a very courageous gamble for Canelo to fight a guy he was favored to beat by 7 to 1 odds. I wish more boxers would take great risks and choose an opponent they are this heavily favored to beat. I’m no mathematician but 7 to 1 is a pretty close fight. Canelo was practically an underdog. Right?

Well if the odds are what determine who you want to see fight, don't ever mention GGG, BJS, Charlo, or any of the other mw or smw as a fight you want to see, including beve, as Canelo will have the odds on his side. You need to focus on a hw fight for Canelo.

Just saying you can spin it any way you wish. Pretend Canelo has big balls for taking on such a risky fight. I was just pointing out the guys who handicap fights and the ones who bet on them knew what it was. The odds tell me more about the fight than the oddballs. The oddsmakers seemed to think Canelo was fighting an old and faded challenger. Are they butthurt haters too?

No, the odds makers take into account how they feel the betting is going to go, they don't care who is going to win, they care about predicting the betting so they don't lose money by paying out bets with their money. Also, the odds were +400 Canelo. So not only are you arguing stuff you don't even understand, you're lying about it. I'm not surprised, nor do I have to wonder why that's happening, the series of posts are pretty obvious.
I'm not interested in changing any minds, it's not that important to me. I said my peace about it, the rest is up to the individual to decide how much bull**** is coming from where.

Okay genius. I understand how odds are set but if you don’t see a connection between overwhelmingly high odds and the actual event you are dumber than I gave you credit for. Canelo was a huge favorite , I recall seeing -470 at one point. For such a risky fight, most people thought he would win easily. Not people who shoot their mouths off on Internet forums, I’m talking about ones who bet their money. You make it seem like it was a 50-50 fight or that he was an underdog. You are either a liar or a chump.

Canelo cherry picked a big named older faded fighter. It was an easy fight and the gambling public called it right. They aren’t always right, sometimes there is an upset. In this case, Kov was the underdog by a wide margin going into the fight. It would have been a huge upset if HE won the fight. Nice try rewriting history.

Berbetiev is 35, Goons like you would come out with some sort of excuses like you did with ggg and Kova, not worth the risk if you ask me.

Trout? Look back polls many picked Nelo to lose. Lara? Elite fighter. GGG? Aging but at most late-prime not old. Jacobs? Top form. Stop hatin.

Ginger is only interested in fighting in Vegas where he knows his ass is protected so much that if he's on his feet at the final bell he "wins"
He's not a real champion he's a manufactured champion who lacks the balls of a real champ

Sh1t like this is why we dont get good fights because you cry baby ass fans will bash real fighted who are taking on top comp and praise hyped up ass trash fighters and make excuses.... Canelo needs to fight every top MW SMW and LHW to prove himself yet these dudes cant even fight a top 5 contender in they own division....ain't no fighter within 3 divisions doing more or fighting better fighters
