Now the thought of the biggest UK Heavyweight fight of all time happening in Saudi really is enough to pack the game in.

I understand boxers need to make money, but this is the biggest slap Eddie could possibly offer. And you know it would be a record UK PPV price.

I k ow people disagree but Hearn has 0 interest in the good of boxing.

Have not watched but I assumed it was a joke?

This guy's job is get as much money as possible I know. But surely there has to be stopping point. But not with Hearn. Just pure greed.

Disgusting behaviour by Eh Day - his love is £££££££££s not boxthing.

Should be ashamed to be associated with a country riddled with scandalous human rights atrocities including murder.

The Matchroom Mutilation Dept should be very proud taking blood money.

The biggest fight in the modern history of the sport was in a ramshackle stadium in sub-Saharan Africa.

    Have a brain.

People would talk about it if this was Warren or Arum putting on a fight so I don’t think it’s down to Eddie ‘winning’ necessarily.

I can understand from a business perspective why Saudi makes sense - doesn’t stop it being a huge shame though.

If they were putting on a fight, sure. Eddie isn't putting on a fight though, he's putting on a performance...

I don't care once the fight gets made. I'll be watching on the telly either way. And if the financial figures Eddie is mentioning are realistic, I don't see how it won't happen. Everyone gets a huge slice of the pie. The only issue is the Sky/BT/DAZN/ESPN stuff so hopefully that can be worked out.

Agreed he knows exactly what he’s doing. The video will get people talking and loads of hits.

Easy for me to say but it would be a terrible shame if this fight doesn’t happen in the UK. It’s a principle thing really.

Its not about having a brain
Its about British fans being disappointed

Most probably see where the money is but it certainly feels wrong from a fan POV

Fury i doubt ever fights him anyway

Were British fans disappointed when the likes of Ricky Hatton, Joe Calzaghe, Lennox Lewis, Naseem Hamed and so on went to America to have most of their biggest fights?

Or did they just accept that the biggest fights happened in the States?

Fury and Joshua are just as much to blame. Everyone is greedy end of. Eddie stating the obvious, the fight will go where the money is. Before Saudi was an option there was strong talk about an all British heavyweight title fight being in the US. It’s faux outrage.

This is all smoke and mirrors from Hearn. We will give you 50/50 on condition the fight is in Saudi in return the Saudi's will give Hearn a massive cash bonus and Joshua has his own setup and specially adapted ring bought in.
