Is AJ about to price himself out of a fight vs the Wilder/Fury winner?

Exactly. Of course he's doing all the talking while they're busy with their own fight, knowing nothing will come from it. He'll then go into Pulev and Usyk fights which will take up all of 2020. No doubt we'll be in a similarly titled thread this time next year.

We won’t see either of those fights for years.

And I’m not convinced Wilder and Fury accept 50% either. They’d probably start demanding more.

People still remeber Bowe ducking Lewis, I dont see why it wont be remwber by peope in boxing and boxing fans.

AJ has already fought the best. ATG in Wlad and then as the number 1 he fought 2 rank number 3 guys in Parker and Povetkin.

AJ won't get 70/30 but I see why he thinks he deserves it.

FFS AJ sold more tickets at the Garden v Ruiz than Wilder has ever done.

Gate receipts, PPV numbers do not lie. The money AJ generates compared to Wilder and Fury is on a different planet.

Just look at Fury's to Vegas fights last year. He sold about 5k tickets combined.

Their is no comparison. AJ being defeated is irrelevant as right now he has 3 belts and is the money man of the division.

Haymon won’t allow Wilder to fight Joshua, way too risky. He’ll keep him busy fighting the likes of Charles Martin

I'm not a fanboy of any of these guys. I love boxing but am not emotionally attached to any of these HWs.

Looking at it objectively as I can, I just dont rate AJ that highly yet. The first fight against Ruiz, where AJ quit, is not a legacy maker. It's not like he got hit by a lucky punch, he got beat down and quit. When has an ATG done that?

Notice I said yet. He is in the peak of his career. This second half of his career makes or breaks his legacy I think.

Yes he beat Vlad but Vlad was like 40 at the time. It's like Marciano beating Joe Louis or Larry Holmes beating Ali. A big part of those victories was the age of the opponent.

Why can't AJ fight the winner of Fury vs Wilder later in the year after Pulev as IBF mandatory? It's a unification fight which will take priority over the WBO mandatory.

Just remember Warren on Friday was claiming this all pointless anyway as Fury v Wilder have a 3rd fight agreed.

That to me is nonsense as depending on how the 2nd fight goes there maybe no appetite for a 3rd fight.

AJ needs to go to Wilder/Fury fight call them both chicken then the fight happens with either Wilder or Fury.

Public out cry will make the fight happen Fury would take this as a insult not so sure on Wilder.

Nobody cares about the bodybuilder now, he already lost. One of the most tainted rematch wins of all time. The blob Ruiz was so fat he could hardly walk over to the other side of the boxing ring. Another vicious KO waiting to happen! lol

Depends on what happens with Wilder-Furry. If Wilder takes him clean out there will be a lot of demand for Wilder-AJ.

Why do you care how much AJ makes for this fight? It's hard for me to fathom. If he makes 30 vs 50 why does it matter to you?

It's more import that they fight. The winner will make more in the rematch and will be justly regarded as the true HW champion of the world. With that comes plenty of money making opportunities.

Sid, I'm not calling you out specifically, just trying to understand the mentality of many engaging in this thread.
