Is AJ about to price himself out of a fight vs the Wilder/Fury winner?

Joshua does not have a superior resume. Especially after February.

Lets see how well Wilder v Fury 2 sells before we right off either's pulling power eh?

Joshua flopped hard in the states, and like it or lump it, that's where the ppv money is.

 

UK ppv just doesn't generate the revenue that the $100+ US PPV's bring in. What if Tyson v Wilder sells 1m in the US?

Do they then deserve the lions share over Joshua?

 

This is a Floyd / Manny situation. Joshua might be able to draw big, but he doesn't draw anywhere near the draw that him vs the winner will do. The fight is the draw.

70/30 is posturing. I think he's looking for 55/45.

 

Joshua`s fight withn Fury is set for the middle east --as they can double their money compared to a UK clash according to the sun newspaper, I don`t know what they are suggesting about Wilder though.

 

None of the fighters are scared to set foot in the ring with the other. Of them, in the last few years, Wilder actually has the best resume.

If they where scared of losing, Fury and Wilder wouldn't be fighting each other.

 

So going by the logic of some on here quality of resume is based on having an 0 not on the opponents faced and A side is also about being undefeated rather than how much revenue you bring to the table. Laughable the lengths Wilder sympathisers will go to in order to try and justify him pricing himself out of the fight everyone has wanted to see for years!!! Sad really.

 

I'd take any hint of where it would be held at this stage with a pinch of salt. If Fury proves a draw vs Wilder in the states, it'll be in Vegas. That is where the money is, like it or lump it no one shills out like the Americans for a big fight (PPV). Pac also proved that you don't have to be an American to draw big time viewing numbers.

I think the rematch will sell well, though I'm and Irish man living in England so I'm playing a bit of a guessing game.

Break down why Joshua's resume is superior to Fury's, please?

I'd argue a prime Chisora who went on to give Haye and Vitali tough fights is a better win than a shot Povetkin and Parker.

Fury outclassed and dethroned an aging Wlad, and he beat Wilder already in all but the official record. If he convincingly beats Wilder again he has the best resume by far.

If Wilder KO's Fury, he would also have at least as good of a resume as Josh imo.

The Sky hype machine has bolstered Joshua's resume into something it's not. It's very good, but it doesn't stand head and shoulders above Wilder (No longer has a weak resume) or Fury.

IMO Fury already has the better resume.

 

But Hearn stated about AJ v Fury:
“Do you think I go up to the guys and say: ‘Guys, you can make $150million (£115m) each to do it in Saudi or $40m (£30m) in the UK?’

 

Povetkin and Parker are more offensively skilled than Chisora, but AJ stated in an interview that it`s really difficult to keep Chisora off you for long because he is so strong and just keeps coming, after the pair sparred recently.

 

I would say a large portion going on the posts on this forum, social media, boxers, ex boxers and boxrec (which I admit like Ring magazine rankings is a flawed).

 

He doesn't want to fight. Simple as that.

 

He sold out MSG. How the fcuk can you talk about flopped in the US when Tyson Fury sold about 5k tickets for two fights in Vegas.

AJ drew more money in NYC than Wilder did.

Wilder v Ortiz 2:

PPV Buys 275k. Yet you want to talk about flops.

AJ v Ruiz MSG sold out and the tickets were more expensive.
