How would Prime Floyd Mayweather do against Terence Crawford, Roy Jones Jr

This thread is clearly based on a p4p perspective in if all the fighters were the same weight. Because if they just fought in reality Floyd ain't going this distance with Ward and gets stops even quicker against RJJ.

P4P Floyd is better than Ward, who himself is a tremendous fighter.

Over a career longevity Floyd is better than RJJ but Jones in his prime with super reflexes and power to match is arguably the best of all time. RJJ is a very hard fighter to judge in history. He is kinda in his own bracket.

RJJ at his best probably beats Floyd if they were the same weight but it's hard to say. He look brilliant but then against lesser talents. Obviously not including Hopkins who was still improving as a fighter and Toney who came in unprepared.

Floyd stops Khan in about 7 rounds in a highly entertaining contest where Khan will start fast but as usual his concentration will let him down.

Crawford quite simply hasn't done enough to justify saying he would beat Floyd. As talented and effective as Bud is Floyd has simply done it more often and consistently against the higher level of opposition.

 

Skill to skill, Floyd would outbox Crawford, Dog Khan, Outbox Ward, Toss up with RJJ and most likely get stopped by SSR simply because SSR was not only supremely skilled, he was hard all the way around. I don't think that Floyd could handle his type of pressure or power for twelve rounds, let alone fifteen.

Floyd was a far better, more skilled boxer than Khan.

 

I t would riskier because Bud has light middle reach and far more power than Floyd had.

 

Bud is a better finisher than Floyd was.

 

Roy didn`t have much experience at 154,Bud is one of the best fighters in the world right now.

 

Roy was very hesitant against Griifin in their first bout because Griffin like Floyd was a quick counter puncher, if Roy came out bombing like he did in his rematch v Montell he`d get countered more than Canelo was.

 

He never proved at feather that he belonged among greats like Pep, he ws never tested, at super feather he was far better.

 

Usyk might have knocked out Roy at cruiser or heavy and he fights like Loma who Floyd wouldn`t have stopped, if you were being sarcastic, then I just added to your humour.

Roy's lead hook, speed and grappling are poison to the philly shell.
