Rolls thanks God, Lou DiBella, UFC FightPass, his sponsors, and the fans, in that order.

Rolls says he will answer his phone when it rings for any fight at 168 or 160. Equally comfortable at either weight.

At least Rolls didn't let dos Santos hang around much longer than he had to. The Brazilian isn't at all great, but he's the type of awkward G.N. F. journeyman that can make lives, and fights, miserable for A side fighters.

Yeah, he took care of business. It wouldn't have been a good look to have all those obvious pronounced advantages (in speed, timing, and physical dimensions) only to carry GPDS a full ten.

Chacarero Ramírez came out to what sounded like Danny Elfman's take on Argentine folk music. :sisi1

Jukado Fist Clayton walked out to a rap song that's definitely familiar but I can't place who it was by.

This is for the NABA welterweight title at stake, 1st defense of Clayton.

Come on, Custio. I'm pulling for you to springboard yourself into some big paydays and meaningful bouts while there's a glimmer of your prime left. Please make a statement here and don't let's have an easy-going spar, eh?

    Round 1

Ramírez is aggressive from the outset, doubling up on a left cross behind the southpaw jab. Ramírez using lots of movement, changing angles on Clayton and throwing lots of punches at medium-long range. Ramírez mixing body and head shots, while Clayton just turns and counters up at him with jabs from a partial crouch. Down goes Clayton, slip. Ramírez is smartly taking a long step outside and shelling up after each sortie to make sure he doesn't take a receipt from Clayton during his exits. Clayton getting outworked, by a lot. Clayton tries a quick shuffle inside with a line drive 1-2 but Ramírez is able to pick him off and roll aside. Slapping right hooks by Ramírez, partially caught on the left arm of Clayton.

    10-9 Ramírez

Clayton 10-9. Ramirez lashed out with flurries, but most everything caught glove. Clayton dropped a few nice rights in there in response.

    Round 2

Ramírez is throwing away the right jab while backing out to get the left extended at full range, then loading the chamber and firing a buckshot left at the chin of Clayton - but getting it trapped between Clayton's pinches gloves every time. Clayton has Ramírez's timing all figured out, and is walking the challenger down, lancing him with sharp rights above the waistband and flashing left jabs up into his face. Clayton staying in front of Ramírez, landing to head and body without getting hit in return.

    10-9 Clayton

    19-19
