Exactly had they fought back in 2009 it would have been much worse for Pac then. Pac was far more limited reckless and flawed back then. He had much worse defense back then and couldn't counter back then. His ring IQ was non-existent back then, he could only fight one way with no right hand. The version of Pac that PBF fought was much smarter could counter and set traps he was much more responsible on defense as well combine that with his physical attributes and he was a harder match up for PBF then than he was in his prime when he was much more limited.
There were a couple of points (in the fourth and sixth) where Pac was looking like he was working his way into the fight. But Mayweather has a knack for taking the play away from his opponent, and did so in this fight by going on the front foot, dropping in a couple of rights, and making Pac a bit hesitant to throw anything with real venom in return for a little while. Having regained control, Mayweather could resume his main strategy of boxing and countering at range. So...Mayweather's ability to adjust and Pac's inability to respond would be my answer.
I'll take the word of my old coach over some fanboy named "Pimp C" on ESB any day of the week. I always found this video enlightening when talking about who ducked who. (timestamped) This content is protected Joking aside, the time it happened at benefited Floyd. No one knows what would have happened in 2009, or 2010, or 2011, or 2012, or 2013, or 2014, because they chose to fight in 2015.
i think manny did more damage but floyd boxed better. Basically, floyd won the match but manny won the "fight". Simple as.
What damage? Floyd looked fresh as a daisy after the fight and it was Pac that looked bruised up at the end of the fight.
Do you understand what i have written? Are you saying that floyd's use of overloar illegal iv in his house is right?
Way to take what he was talking about out of context troll. This was after Pac declined to fight because he didn't want to test. PBF was simply stating why should he fight a guy who doesn't want to test that is more than likely on something that could endanger his career, which is common sense. Roach already stated 2:30 of this video This content is protected that it was their fault the fight didn't happen back in 2009 because they were against testing. Those are facts. Your coach is a Pac fan and a PBF hater because he refuses to acknowledge what really happened back then and promote his own agenda and what really happened was Pac declining to fight a prime PBF because he didn't want random blood testing with no cutoffs. He pulled out of talks to fight Clottey with no random blood testing in a fight no one wanted I might add. While PBF was left holding the bag and fought the P4P #3 ranked Mosley who did agree to random blood testing with no cutoffs. That's exactly what happened 100% truth which can't be refuted by you or your agenda having PBF hating coach.
Something isn't wired right in your brain. I'm a bigger fan of Floyd than I am of Pac, but I see it how it is. I'm certainly no Floyd hater, the man has made me money (including on the Pac fight).
Something not quite right with yours. You're trying to convince me of something that didnt happen. I post facts telling exactly what happened and you post your coach's hater agenda trying to pass it off as fact.
Irrelevant. The FACT is the Manny FlIVd faced is nowhere near the fighter he was in 2009-12 which is when the fight shouldve happened. Both fighters we're at their peak and thats when it shouldve happened. The fight we got proved nothing the same way if FlIVd comes out of retirement to fight Manny and Manny knocks him out , sorry Manny but it means NOTHING.
Nothing really went wrong. Pacquiao just wasn't good enough. Mayweather won the fight comfortably enough in my opinion, Floyd didn't even have to go through the gears, it really is that simple.
