There are so many different ways to interpret what happened. It's a matter of opinion. Not to be too philosophical, but it depends who you're a fan of. As a boxing fan I can not dislike Mayweather's craft, he's too skillful. But I like pacquiao more for certain reasons. I always felt pacquiaos declined quicker due to his style, although he was still elite, his high-energy style doesnt age as well as a crafty defensive fighter. I believe pacquiao didnt have the energy level to over tax Floyd's defense. Who knows what would have happened in 2010. all I know is it would have been a much better fight for the fans.
Age. Floyd would have likely won anyway but that fight was a sham. It was not the fight we wanted to see when both where in their prime. Pac was stylistically way more gone.
