Hammer, nail, head. In saying that Hamed had the same flaws under Ingle that he always had and would've eventually been found out whether Ingle trained him or not. He was an arrogant, know it all smartarse.
His brothers got involved .All got a bit religious .Started to try to ko all his opponents .waste of talent .
He was certainly different and had some talent but like has been said his style would have likely been found out by the elite wether he was with Ingle or not. He had sickening punching power though I'll give him that and was full on entertainment.
I recall watching a bit of a bio on him and there was a bit of film on him when he was a kid in Ingle's gym. He had the same hands-down style and bopping all around the ring that he had as an adult. It was the Ingle style that was also taught to Herol Graham. Everything Hamed learned and became was because of Brendan Ingle. This bio also showed one of the last times Ingle was involved before he booted him. The film also showed - even though he knew he was soon to be booted once his contract was up - Ingle getting into the ring between rounds, shouting advice, but Hamed arrogantly and demonstratively ignoring him. Also, for those of you who may know, I would also love to know what happened between Ingle and Herol Graham. For some reason I don't think it was personal but something to do with his contract where he was no longer allowed to train or be in Graham's corner. But I think it was during the second Kalambay fight where Ingle, seated at ringside, grew so frustrated he yelled out "Herol, use your jab!" Anyone know what went on here?
