Hatton's only real duck - as in someone he could have and should have fought, that called him out but whose name he never uttered - was Junior Witter.

Khan has a whole pond full of ducks.

Depends on the ref. If ref allows Hatton, he stops Khan after getting mauled. If the ref keeps himself in the fight, then Khan wins.

    Hatton should have fought cotto
    Shane
    Judah
    They were all about
But wicky loved sitting in the Manchester arena getting peop!e to believe his 20 odd defences of a wbu world title was genuine
And thousands fell for it hook line and sinker

    Fairly predictable fight.

Amir stars fast as always, probably wins the first few rounds on pure in/out speed of combos
But Hatton pressures really well, starts to cut him off and land more and more regularly.
Khan struggles to keep away or keep it at distance, east lots of punches to head and body and get's TKO'd late. At best he runs while very tired for the last few rounds to desperately make the bell but loses a UD.

BUT the one potentially big factor is that Hatton cut's really easily. Khan's punches are fast and whipping, even if he hasn't got that much power. That said, Hatton never did get stopped on cuts in his whole career despite some bad cuts. Good cutman working his corner.

Either way, Hatton by TKO (or poss UD if Khan founds a way to make it to the bell in the last third of the fight)

Hatton had very quick feet, and was an animalistic mauler, he also had very good hooks and uppercuts on the inside and was great at leading with a jab, closing distance and then crowding. Hatton would have been a stylistic nightmare for Khan.

I don't think Amir would even pull out to an early lead because Hatton would be on him from the very beginning "uglifying" (no it's not a real word) the fight and pressuring him.

    Hatton tko 6

Time is a unit of power so Khan's speedy punches are probably more powerful than we think albeit not destructive power.

That being said after years of saying "if only Khan was smarter in the ring..." I can now conclude Khan is not smart, never will be. Hatton mauls him to submission.

I was never bothered by that based upon Witter being one of the most unlikable characters in the game. Add to that an ugly style that for some reason he thought was flashy and entertaining and it makes for a fight I didn't care for.

I was rooting for Bradley and delighted when he dethroned that *******.

I didn't think Groves was unlikeable as Witter. He had been done over as an amateur by Team GB and had a fan friendly style. If anything I think Froch was the ***** in the build up to their fights.

Froch Calzaghe never happened because Fat Mick is a useless sack of **** and promoted Carl badly.

All those other fights sound exciting to watch. Murray, Brook and Khan aren't know for stinkers.

This would have been a good one. My heart says Hatton but my head says Khan. He’s been KOd by big punchers but had fast hands early in his career. He would have outboxed Hatton, the only question is could Khan avoid the KO for 12 rounds. It’s definitely a strong possibility. Either way, great fight they never happened.
