    Akhmadaliev had not beaten or faced a single top contender yet he was the mandatory.
    Andrade had faced maybe only 3 top 10 contenders in his 10 year pro career. Yet he is a 2 weight champion.
    Farmer beat the corpse of Billy Dib to win is IBF title. GTFO. Talk about getting handed a belt.

    What Hearn is doing is trying to expand boxing´s young market. How is that a bad thing? It´s not just some blatant money grab.
    Just look at the social media reach these guys have.
    FFS, I myself became a boxing fan due to a Japanese manga. If it weren´t for that, I would likely never have found the sport.

    I just watched Sims Jr v Angulo.

    My scorecard

    Round 1. Angulo 10-9 close
    Round 2. Angulo 10-9 close
    Round 3. Angulo 10-9
    Round 4. Angulo 10-9
    Round 5. Sims 10-8 close
    Round 6. Angulo 10-9 close
    Round 7. Angulo 10-9
    Round 8. Sims 10-9
    Round 9. Angulo 10-9 very close
    Round 10. Sims 10-9 close

    I gave Angulo a lot of rounds just based on activity and looking to create a fight. Sims Jr for some reason seemed happy just to skip off the back foot and let rounds drift away, barely committing to his jab and barely throwing a right all fight. It was like watching a mixture of Hughie Fury and Kevin Johnson from Sims for large parts of that fight. Was he worried about Angulo's power? A very strange performance from Sims.

    Made some nice money off that card.

    Bookies were giving Jake Paul at basically evens, even though he looked way bigger and more athletic, and anything I saw of Gib implied he had literally zero boxing.

    I also had a nice double on Diaz and Akhmadaliev :)

    We all know GRJ is good. But it´s also that Farmer was not great. He had struggled with weak competition before.
    Don´t go playing that "stock rises" game. It´s BS.
    Jo-Jo deserves the credit here, not GRJ.
