You are mistaken. He lost to Ward twice.

It’s called reality. The Dawson that beat Adamek would have beaten Kovalev. There is a reason Ward wouldn’t fight Dawson at 175 but he was willing to fight Kovalev at that weight.

Adamek was severely weight-drained for the fight with Dawson, as was Dawson for his fight with Ward.

After the fight, Adamek moved up 25 pounds to cruiserweight, where he became linear champion.

Kovalev deserved to win the first fight with Ward, as every honest person will agree.

The corruption in boxing is indeed the reality. But anyone who isn't biased as hell knows that Kovalev won the first fight. Of course you don't have a problem with crooked judges in boxing as long as it benefits your favorite fighter. I hope you don't have a word to say against Roy Jones' loss in the Olympic final either.

This is my take. I think it's pretty close H2H though. Give Dawson Kovalev's chin and it's not close in the slightest

Dawson that fought ward no way.
    But he was severely dehydrated.

Light heavy Dawson was a beast ... pre Ward & prime for prime vs Kovalev?

that’s 50/50 least in my eyes.

I thought the first fight could go either way. Ward got the decision. Boxing judging is subjective. There are decisions I don’t agree with but I accept them.

People forget so quickly! Although Kov's prime was somewhat short, expedited due to the love of drink and lack of discipline. He was a beast that would give hell and then some to the very best that fought or made a stake at 175. Dawson? Please! A prime Kov would have smacked Dawson around with one hand while downing a bottle of vodka in the other.

You continually underestimate Kovalev's legacy and abilities. Why is this? I've come up with some theories.

    1. You can't see
    2. You don't understand boxing

It's either one or the other.

lol What is Kovalev’s legacy, oh wise one? You are probably one of those “experts” who was rating Kovalev an atg at light-heavy.

I can't figure out which theory is applicable in your case. If you can't understand boxing then why bother explaining to somebody who is incapable of grasping the concepts? Wouldn't that effort be in vain?
