I see Smith is touting this fight on sky sports website, obviously both would want well paid for it!

do you think Eddie would see this as a potential PPV? would need monster card for it to be PPV worthy IMO

Ridiculous if this was a PPV headliner. This is the sort of fight that should headline a Saturday fight night.

Big Pricey and Dave Allen will be on standby for this PPV 'stacked Card'.

I'd love nothing more than Amir to step in and fight Smith ahead of Brook just to wind him up and leave him nowhere to go but retire. The Ultimate Trolling.

Brook v Smith is easily sellable on PPV with a decent supporting card. There are plenty of good ingredients there. Genuine crossroads / career ending fight either way. Both men are well matched and both have decent levels of residual / casual support. I'd pay £20.00 to watch it. I reckon it's a really good fight. I'd rather watch this that Usyk v Chisora.
It would be hilarious if Khan pinched this off Brook but I don't think Amir would move up to Light Middle to fight Smith.

I’d love to see it but it’s not PPV worthy. Our concept of what is considered worthy of a PPV has been skewed to the point that a well matched fight has a chance to be a PPV.

154lbs prevents Khan from being in the equation, unfortunately, he really struggled with putting on the right kind of weight to make 155lbs comfortably against a Clen using/abusing Mexican weight bully. This should neevr be PPV in theory but compared to what makes PPV these days it's inevitable that if it was made it would be. The Bazooka is first up this Saturday, De Luca The Bazooka.

It wouldn't surprise me though I certainly wouldn't pay for it.

The issue is the value Brook has placed on himself post GGG.

What time is Brook on the ring just had a look at Sky at it says 7pm, im guessing that's when the show starts and it will be more like 9?

It’s a good fight but it should not be PPV.

That said Sky do need to fill these PPV slots and it’s a relatively cheap headline fight.

That goes back quite a long way. Khan Salita for example is more than a decade ago, is a worse fight than Brook Smith, and was PPV.

It'd bomb on PPV. Good fight but not even sky could dress that one up as a ppv.

Take it you don't use twitter mate. Dave Allen's opponent has been confirmed for this weekend (Darch) and his followers appear to think it's a tough test and if he comes through he should be British Champion.
