Interesting fight. I would say 100/0 in favor for Parker.

I mean, I don't get it, he's been scheduled to fight Chisora. He had his reasons to pull out and then he goes for a nobody?

Man, I really liked Joseph Parker but this here is waste of career. What does he hope to achieve with such fights? He'll be no closer for a title shot than he is now.

Why not an interesting fight against Ortiz who is around the same age as his current opponent...

Shawndell Terell Winters is an age 39 natural cruiserweight.

Why is Parker not fighting someone younger and his own size?

Parker needs to be thrown into the hamburger pit with a 300lb version of Andy Ruiz! I bet the blob gobbles him up this time, completely walks through Parker's punches!

The lighter version lost because he couldn't maintain the movement / pace he needed to in order to beat Parker the first time - being 40lb heavier, and Parker knowing not to just stand and trade with him will definitely make the Parker win more definitive.

And very disappointed with this fight.

He should be fighting better really. Dude did just stop Teslenko though, so I get why he's being given a chance here.

Last couple years of Parkers career reminds me of brooks last few years. Both lost back to back fights (brooks admittedly a lot more damaging loses) and now in constant circle of warm up fights to warm up for another warm up fight.

Parker's last 3 fights have been predictable. His career is fizzling out with a limp wimper.

He refused to change trainer and manager, refused to relocate. He is coasting and his opponents recently have been poor.

    Yikes :(

The only thing is can think is that they're close to a mandatory and don't want to risk it, but this is really disappointing.

It hardly seemed to be spoken about on here at all, seemed quite odd to me given quite a few people were high on him. He was gassing early doors, guess he was just really badly prepared as I don't recall Winters overly working the body

I don't think Parker lost to Whyte but regardless point stands. The way he's being wasted despite being a top 10 HW is really disappointing.

Yeah I wasn't surprised in the slightest. Could see that one coming from a.mile away personally. He's like if you took the Klitschkos DNA and mixed it with Prices and Prices came out on top.

Yup he did a bit of a David Price and ran out of gas towards the end of round 4 before being stopped in the 5th.
