I dont know. Usyks style is a nightmare for Chisora. Sure he will try to throw bombs but if he doesn't get Usyk out early he will be exhausted and taking constant punishment by round 10. We all know how this fight will go, its whether Chisora lands anything decent and can Usyks chin take it? We will see.
People forget it’s almost 7 years since Usyk was in with the likes of Joe Joyce without head guards during the WSB. Usyk’s not going to get this sudden shock fighting the big heavyweights that people think. I really like Chisora but he gets embarrassed in this fight.
The only real question is whether can Usyk can take it, because we know Usyk can get hit. He is hittable... despite the slick movement. Usyk is a real slow starter, Chisora is the complete opposite, and Chisora has had a lot of success recently in bringing down guys early. Price and Spilka... not the best chins but still earlier than other KO artists achieved. And Takam is good chinned, and Chisora caught him nicely... and Takam is usually a smooth operator as he avoided all Joshuas power. Chisora gets slept on a lot in this forum, he is much better than his CV suggests Bellew had success hitting Usyk... I''m confident Chisora hits harder, and has a better engine. Chisora is gritty AF too because he tooks serious punishment from Whyte and Takam.. so I fail to see how Usyk can deal any more punishment than that especially in the opening rounds where Chisora is at his strongest. If Chisora can bite down on his gumshield to come forward to Dillian Whyte who is known for punching hard... no EFFS will be given when he walks towards Usyk,
A little fat pudding also took Joshua's power easily mate but you are right about pudding Chisora - if that telegraphed overhead right lands it will damage any fighter.
Hearn said it's "practically done", great news and I am looking forward to it. I hope they get to make Bakole vs Hrgovic on the card too.
True but Chisora is very slow and if Usyk cant avoid that right hand then he is in big trouble as you can see it coming from a mile away. Gassiev was a dangerous puncher, much faster than Chisora and his right never looked like landing. With Bellew and even Witherspoon i dont think Usyk respected their power as much as he did Gassievs and what he will with Chisora.
Well if Chisora still has plenty left, and is in tip top shape, this is a tricky one for Usyk. I think he'll probably keep out of the way and box himself to a points win, but I don't think he can take any liberties in there.
Chisora will take a lot of punishment and he has a good chin. Chisora will need brain scans after this.
Chisora outboxed yet again from a top level fighter. Chisora is just a good gatekeeper for World level but he will never get there himself. Been good to have him around but he’s done now I think so two three more and hang ur gloves up I say.
I just hope no-one needs to whip up the delboy excuse playbook: "He wasn't motivated." "He didn't train." "3 feet reach disadvantage." "The big occasion got to him mentally."
Dereck Chisora will win. Late KO. Usyk fans go into complete meltdown. Chisora just ain't any old pudding...he's a M&S pudding.
