So 2 showcase fights and a fight vs a top 10 titlist make you not a fan sound reasonable... if you paid attention i already addressed that..first off the only REAL catchweight was Cotto/Khan simply because they were for a title I didn't like the title being on the line but Ctto demolished the regining Champ then demolished the guy everybody claimed was most feared best win in better fashion and the weight was fair for Cotto/Khan and was at their request overall no real issue for me.
VADA was considered the best agency until they said Canelo wasnt juicing and that is was an accident my personal opinion whether it was or not it's a bad look, but looking at facts VADA said it was an accident, dude took a hair test and signed up for year round VADA testing after took his suspension came back under more scrutiny and won more impressively in his next fight what reason do I have to bring it up dude has comcisitantly taken VADA throughout his career but I guess when Mayweather is the man using USADA then VADA is great but when Canelo uses VADA then they corrupt lol.
As far as rehydration lol you Know IBF has the same clause in all they're title fights are they being unfair... also who has he asked this of Jacob's a guy who routinely blows up to 180+ at 160 and Kovalev when he was moving up 2 divisions wow... the outrage...
You sound stupid name me 1 fighter doing better, I know yall were hoping and wishing GGG was the real deal but he wasn't he could have fought Canelo somewhere between 154-160 for no title in 2014/5 and refused when he got his chance he lost and he ain't fighting anybody worth a damn to warrant another shot yall gotta deal with it... just think one of the fighters Canelo is linked to nedt is Saunders if he takes and wins that fight he'd be a unified Titlist or Champ at 154/60/68 and while also winning a title at 175 nobody in boxing is doing that... its 4 champs in every division and even more Titlist why come Cabelo is the only one consistantly fighting title holders? Tell me what the difference is between Fielding and Andrade hell Fielding arguably has the better win and Ryder so you tell me

When considering prime vs prime - and referencing their two fights to support the view Canelo would be victorious - you cannot ignore the fact, by the time they fought, GGG's decline had slowed his feet to such an extent he had to shelve his work to the body; he simply no longer had the spring in his step to set up those shots.

He has barely thrown that left to the body in his recent fights for a reason (not just vs Canelo), and prior it was a major weapon in his armoury. Prime GGG would have been a different proposition to either of the fights that actually took place.

You also can't ignore the FACT that GGG has looked less than stellar in his recent fights because he's finally stepped up in competition... Throw him against Martirosyan and Roles and you'll see vintage Golovkin.

Point is, he didn't throw to the body much against those two either (or Derevyanchenko). And as you rightly point out, the two you mention are nowhere near Canelo's class. So the common factor between these fights? Level of opposition or physical decline?*

    *Rhetorical

Your fandom would be cute if you were 9 but you're not so it's a little tragic. This is boxing, not the ****ing power rangers.

God I miss the Leonards,Hearns,Haglers ,Durans and the Benitezs.

Boxers that WANTED to fight the best to prove they were the best.

Now we have.......Canelo. Gets busted for drugs.
Moves up to lightheavy and fights the weakest title holder......then quickly moves back down to avoid any of the other champions who are actually in their primes.
Fights Mayweather- his toughest opponent besides GGG- and gets SPANKED for 12 rounds. But wait he isnt in his prime yet even though hes been a pro for about EIGHT years.
Faces GGG who is on the downside and is "gifted" a draw.

If GGG is overrated then Canelo got beat by an overrated fighter... What does that make Canelo... A super overrated fighter??
