Martin-Washington: Did we miss something here?

    The fact that Gerald Washington vs Charles Martin has title implications is straight doo doo. Nothing new tho considering undeserving guys get title shots on the norm. But damn, Martin best win since losing to AJ is Corbin. On a DQ. Washington on the flip is a likeable guy who takes on just bout everyone put in front of him. His KO of Helenius was a great win for him but prior he beat really and no one and lost to Kownacki, Wilder and and a more then likely juiced up Jarrell Miller. But if I'm picking a dog in this fight its G Washington. Get that payday vs Joshua

    Dont matter what title lol. An NABO title shouldnt even be up for grabs

    So an eliminator... that doesn't surprise me in the least...
    That has almost always been 2 mediocre North Americans against eachother for the top contender spot, in every weight. Meaning the next IBF HW mandatory after Pulev will be a walkover.

    Joshua is going to have to drop a belt. Losing to Ruiz jammed up his schedule, and these mandatories are awful.

    Don´t the IBF do a lot of eliminators? Pretty sure this won´t be for a mandatory shot. Just an opportunity to be next in line for the final eliminator.
    And IBF is racially bias, that much is certain.

    I was gonna start a thread that read:

    WTF: Charles Martin vs. Gerald Washington for (IBF heavyweight eliminator)

    but it likely would have been lumped into this thread, what about Kownacki?? He beat both of them!!!

    it's a flashback to Oleg Maskaev destroying Hasim Rahman then Rahman gets a life and death Heavyweight Eliminator against Corrie Sanders then gets a title shot and KTFO Lennox Lewis! Lewis figured it'd be a Cake Walk after seeing Maskaev destroy Rahman!

    why does losing get you thrown into Heavyweight Eliminators to get a Mandatory Title Shot?? Winning gets you avoided like the CoronaVirus!!!
