I guess it might come down to what is more important in Boxing? Dominance, eye test, Scalps or Activity(number of fights) with fighting the best/results .. maybe going up factors in .. Who ya got? What you think?

What pacman did happens once in a lifetime. Pac all the way and I think his speed combined with his weird angles and southpaw blitz would beat Leonard at welterweight. Leonard had trouble with fast hands, fast footwork and southpaws. Manny, with his power is the perfect storm.

I think Madman Manny historically is better fly-jr middle? Wow! Against top rate op too.
I am just glad I had time to get my opinion posted, this thread is filling up w/ answers so quickly. But yet Tony Tubbs or Frank Bruno vs anyone last up top for weeks!. Something is not right with the world.

Pac might finish his career with around 30 wins in title fights.

I don’t think Leonard even cracked ten unless you count Lalonde.

Get back to me when Pac has a resume with wins over people at the level of Benitez, Duran, Hearns, and Hagler.

Leonard sure won a lot of titles. what he does not have are many title defenses.

Leonard's top shelf wins are Duran, Hearns, Benitez & Hagler. Whilst his good wins are guys like Kalule and Lalonde

Pac's top tier are Marquez, Morales, Barrera, Cotto and Thurman. He also beat guys like Sasakul, Hussein, Solis, Diaz, Hatton, Hatton, Margarito, Bradley, Algieri, Rios and old Mosley and Del a Hoya.

Soooooo in terms of sheer depth, Yeah, Pac has it. In terms of top shelf wins? That's Leonard and it's not close in the slightest. Leonard's top tier wins, along with other stuff, make him a greater fighter by a clear margin imo.

I think the best way to put this is that Leonard has the better top 5, and Pac has the better top 10.

It is a tough thing. I think Ray and I hate to say it because I love Manny. It is so different, but the level Benitez,Duran and Hearns and then Hagler. Those names Somehow he was very lucky. He had a short career and he got fighter of the decade. One thing I don't get is the Lalonde fight and how that was accepted.
