    Isn't that the Tom Sharkey one ? I know there was a fairly recent Jack Sharkey too ..

    Sharkey was thrown to the wolves.....he was also a world class nfishing expert and went fishing with ted willams , Lou thesz, and many famous people

    That's what I love about my Ring magazine issues from the 70s & 80s. To read those old timers clown the ones we call ATGs is hilarious.

    I got one issue where Jake Lamotta is ripping the hell out of Marvin Hagler using the words U just typed!

    Lamotta: Who Hagler? The guy that couldn't beat welterweights? For pete's sake he lost to Ray Leonard who was no Sugar Ray!


    Sounds like Jack Sharkey was just a blunt speaking pugilist.
