I'm far from an expert at anything, but if there's one thing I'm remotely in the running for, it's Ezzard Charles!

There's is no light-heavyweight who undoubtedly beats Ezzard Charles, every match up you can possibly think of at 175 is no more than 60/40 in someone else's favour. That's like saying someone is levels above Ali at HW. It's just bollocks.
    What the ****???
Saad was NEVER on a level with Charles. The only positive I can say about Saad is that he may get a flash KD. That's it. Oh and he'd go the distance.

You can make a case Qawi would win, but I don't know how well you can argue it. Charles has an answer for all of Qawi's strengths. Charles's defence and footwork was better than Qawi's, and would be able to mix it up on the inside with Dwight.

Spinks is very arguable. To be adamant he wins, and implying Ezz has no chance is ridiculous.

    Kovalev? Hearns? FOH.
Saad wasn't better than Lloyd lmao. You know who your description of Marshall perfectly describes? Saad Muhammad.

Marshall was a ring-savy counter puncher who beat Charley Burley, Bivins, LaMotta, Williams Maxim, Chase and Mills among others. Aside from durability, size and power, is there anything Saad does better? Clue - No.

HE STOPPED AND DROPPED AN INJURED CHARLES.... AND THE OTHER KD WAS A FLASH KD ON FILM.

You are the only one living in a fantasy world around Charles. He was very far from "starched" against Marshall. He was on one knee waiting for the red to finish his count, he wasn't hurt in the slightest. He wasn't wobbled at all lol.

It was completely a flash KD... Study up on there first fight. Sources have Charles as injured, given the length of some of the KDs that's entirely credible...

Imagine thinking that the only person to go 15 with a juggernaut like Marciano has a bad chin. He was past prime in the first Marciano fight too, which I'm sure you well know. You're using Boxrec, you know full well Charles was badly injured.
No. We see him going down on a flash KD and taking the full count. It's not hard to figure out. And then we see him take apart a top 10 LHW and P4P ATG. In those 2 years, he fought 19 times. That's not a short run, and I imagine under that schedule against those names, only 1 LHW in history would do as well, and even then you said yourself he'd beat Tunney.

It is an agenda, or just plain stupidity. I don't know how you can see it, have it spelt out to you by excellent posters like John, and still not get it.

Which of these LHWs fought the fighters who Ezz did? How many took on the amount of bonafide ATGs and HOFers that Ezzard did? I can answer that. None. You say it like the duration matters. Let's think to ourselves, who reigned the longest at LHW and looked unbeatable... Moore? Foster? Shall we remind ourselves of who Ezzard Charles beat 3 times... Of who YOU think Charles would beat?

Charles was the most elite fighter that division ever saw, or at least top 3.

Charles named Marshall as one of the hardest punchers he faced. Charles is an ATG and P4P fighter.
