Dude we are in a era of vacant Champ, hypejobs, guys who talk more than they fight, guys who duck anybody until they get a payday...and yet you hating on one of the few fighters who actually fights good comp... that's why this sport is going in the dumps.

The sport is in the dumps because we expect too little from our stars.

Failing drugs tests, inventing your own weight classes and subjecting people to rehydration clauses is not OK IMO.

There are plenty of other controversial things about Canelo too but his fans ignore them and keep on trucking.

    What invented weight class?
Dude failed one test was cleared by the agency took his suspension then subjected himself to more stringent testing in his next bout, what exactly is the issue?
I can name a slew of top fighters like Hoya,Pacquiao,Morales,Mayweather who after going up a number of weight classes asked for that as well do we discredit all them.. a fighter moving up 2 divisions and asking the guy not to rehydrated 2 divisions more is fair...
You do realize that the IBF for there title fights have the same 10lb limit, are they cheating and unfair...

I don't ignore anything I just don't spend my day making a big issue over nothing..
If Spence fought Broner in a non title tune up and fame in at 147.5 or 148 that's still a welterweight fight yet somehow Canelo vs Lara at 154.5 is inventing a weight class lol yall people sound foolish.
My expectations is for Champ to be Champs.
Canelo last 4 fights he's beaten 4 current champs taking a total of 5 titles... that's 4 fights... I can list the top 10 fighters from 154-75 and combined maybe come up with that same amount total.
How many champs has GGG beaten or Jacobs, or either Charlo, or Hurd, or Saunders, or Lemiux, or Andrade, or Smith, or Lara, etc... go through they resume tell me who they fought then you tell me why I shouldn't be a fan of Canelo. Fielding is consider a cr@p opponent yet is better than 90% of the fighters I listed resume

You're what's wrong with boxing man. The above is weak AF and easy to tear apart but once someone like you had made their mind up its almost impossible to change their mind regardless of the facts.

If you can name the fighters that are doing more and have a better resume than Canelo I'm all ears

Well I'd rather fighters fight in proper weight classes - there are a lot of guys doing that.

I want guys to pass drugs tests 100% of the time. There are a lot of guys doing that.

I want guys to ignore these BS fake 'world' title belts. There are a lot of guys doing that.

Other guys need to be fighting the other top guys? So what? How do other people having issues help Canelo?

Wow you really got me good with your "Sandy house" example. What a great analogy, did you come up with that all on your own?

And then a Johovah's Witness analogy on top of that. So I guess if all else fails, you just proceed to use weird analogies like that. This kind of response screams "I've got nothin".

You know for a fact that a lot of people have me on ignore? Really is that so : how would you know such a thing? Do you PM other posters and ask them who they have on ignore or something? Sounds like something a stalker would do.

How do you feel about the IBF title and them imposing 10lbs... also you dont think it would be smart for a guy moving up 2 divisions, to add something to stop himself from being 3 or 4 divisions undersized..

The only thing you said relevant was the drug test, regardless of being cleared or not is a bad look... never seen him make up a weight class, and fake champs lol a fake Champ for Canelo is a top 5 title holder... the majority of boxing is guys fighting the #15-20 ranked guy screaming they being ducked by number when they ain't fought nobody.. tell me if it's so many fake champs why isn't anybody else doing what a real champ is supposed to do and relieve them of they title like he did to GGG and Jacobs 2 fighters who have spent their careers fighting subpar comp while begging for paydays

I’d have more respect for Canelo if he just moved to MW and fought top challengers to unify MW. Or if he defended the belt at LH against a top guy like Beterbiev it Bivol. Cherry picking a faded washed up Kov and having him agree to a secret rehydration clause is laughable for a guy who once fought tiny Khan and enjoyed a massive weight advantage without blinking an eye. A guy who once fought at his own Ceneloweight but rehydrated to LH and later moved to SMW to get a minor belt against a bum, Fielding. Why not fight a top SMW? Why not defend the LH belt against a top LH? Why does he need PEDs and questionable judging? Too much drama with this guy. I prefer a fighter like Usyk who will fight anyone, anywhere. No drama, no hydration BS, no PEDs. This is why I can never fully support Canelo. Maybe if he moves to his true weight and fights all top guys to win a belt. Forget about padding his resume with lesser champs and washed up old guys.

I was unaware the IBF was imposing a 10 lb rehydration clause on this Canelo vs Kovalev.
    Do you have a source?

I also didn't know Canelo was 3 or 4 divisions undersized considering after Kov he was saying it would be very difficult to return to 160 because of the weight.
