watch Wilders amateur fight against Romanov - Romanov is listed as 6' foot and he got off very well - I know Wilder has improved but he was 6'7 in the fight below This content is protected
This is basically Wilder off the street. Other guys would’ve been in Tough Man contests. He made the Olympics. He was a total novice back then and you should be ashamed of yourself for wasting our time with useless posts.
wilder never touched a boxing glove until he was 20 years old and had a short amateur career to boot. Understandable that he had a loss. Holmes was Beaten by Duane Bobick in the amateurs. Doesn’t mean I’d pick others to beat him in the pros based on THAT performance
Bummy is one of the most intellectually dishonest posters on these boards next to Choklab himself. I'd take anything he says with a grain of salt.
I don't either my point was his 6'7 height did not stop him from being hit by a 6' ft guy - I like Wilder just not certain he would survive a Frazier at this point but may feel differently after a few more fights
I'll let you know after his fight with fury. I know fury and fraizer have different styles. However i just want to see if wilders power works on elite prime fighters . not just inactive low tier past prime competition . I do give him credit for his win over ortiz. However just want to see a bit more
Well if it was done in the past by less experienced boxer then Joe multiple time with same style and attributes, so it's very double. Its called getting checked sounds as you have never been in boxing ring.
The fight would be going to the inside. Wilder would have to make the most of the chances he gets outside, shoot the right and then move or take the return fire. The idea that Frazier would be tamed or pacified by Wilder's height alone isnt realistic.
