Rocky Marciano holds the highest KO ratio officially highest KO ratio in heavyweight boxing history at 87.6%

You can easily get a prospect and have him KO 10 bums and easily have 100 percent KO ratio in the heavyweight division . so don't bring up the "wilder already has more KO's tho " when its all said and done the offical KO percentage comes down to when you retire officaly.

Can wilder retire surpassing marcianos 49-0. Retire undefeated. And have a higher KO percentage than rocky marciano.

Wilder still has 6-7 more fights to go .....

Marciano always knocked his opponents out much quicker the second time they fought than the first fight

    Charles
    Walcott
    Lastarza

Wilder has done the same with stiverne and ortiz. Lets see if he can do it with fury.

If you want to see toughness / Skill you have to watch marciano & jersey Joe...mind you Walcott was more into his 50's in reality but his footwork & skill was brilliant....Marciano against a fresher jersey Joe imo would have lost big time. It was a shame Walcott took the 2nd fight.

Marciano had no draws so don’t count

Well if he continues to cherry-pick opponnents (or rather Haymon and Finkel do) then sure, he could go unbeaten but so what? He has a draw on his record already so no chance of emulating Rocky anyway.

Wilder has yet to meet a fighter who:

    1) Is a genuine heavyweight banger
    2) has an iron chin

If Wilder meets and stops both Joshua and Ruiz then that will massively increase his legacy and put him much closer to Marciano than if he merely retires undefeated fighting fringe contenders who can't punch or rematching fighters he's already beaten.

Maybe but it`ll be a close call because of his advanced age.

Wilder hasn't fought the best heavyweights of his time, he's failed to unify the titles.

The only former titleholders he's ever beaten are completely shot Lyakhovich and old Stiverne, who only ever beat Arreola.

He should have been fighting Parker, Joshua, Whyte, Povetkin, Klitschko, and Ruiz instead of Szpilka, Washington, Duhapas, Breazeale, Gavern and Arreola.

Marciano fought the best who were available to him.

Deontay fights young guys, Marciano fought the oldest dues he could at the very end of their career's. Rocky was the ultimate cherry picker and his resume tells it. He gets more credit and less flack for fighting Joe Louis ,who had been boxing since 1934 than Deontay gets for fighting Luis Ortiz.

The average age of Wilders last 5 opponents is like 35...

Since when is 35 considered 'young'.
