Will La Maquinita Solis End Up Mauling & Mangling The New Macho Tough Guy Gunslinging Rigondeaux?

Just saw this is at 118? Rigo hasn't fought at 118 in the pros yet and at his age going down in weight is always a sketchy prop.

..but in the weigh-in pics Solis looks a lot more drained than he is. Strange he moved down in weight.

 

Solis has some things going for him in this match but I do see Rigondeaux beating him to the punch no matter which way he plays it.

 

First fight in Rigos pro career where hes naturally the bigger man.

Wide points win for Rigo

 

Rigo was always tiny at 122. I think he was only 130lbs when he faced Loma. And years ago Rigo would gain only a few lbs by fight night.
He should have been at 118 his entire pro career.

 

Yeah, he fought ams at 118... but he's never been that low in the pros. He's always in shape though.

 

Ceja would straight demolish Solis tho. I get what you're saying tho.. Don't blink it could be a Fire fight!!!

 

I know Solis has never been stopped but like you said Rigo with even more power is a scary thought.

 

A draw is maybe possible. Should be interesting
