    Great KO
I thought he looked decent tbh
Timing and accuracy not what it was but still good

Hard one to call both Smith and himself I see both on the slide, I think Brook just bit can’t see him beating any of the champs at 154.

Did Brook just call DeLuca bazooka? Hahahaha

Kell saying Eddie has the big fights lined up for him, I think I’ve heard that before.

Fancied Smith in this even in the pre Golovkin and Spence days. Now I’d be putting good money on him. Brook is crap. He’s only fighting for money as well. “Will be the last time I fight in Sheffield”... Why? If you win the world title you’d probably be able to defend it in Sheffield.

Would like to see Brook v Smith next. I am fan of both guys. At this stage its a 50/50. As for Brooks performance, I felt he improved as he grew into the fight and definetly has something less, but nevertheless i think he is on the slide. His footwork has slowed down, seems to have lost some spring in his legs. He was easier to hit and at the 5th he looked very tired in the corner (regardless of what Hearn claims about him not breathing after 5 rounds). On a positive his timing got better as fight went on, his shot selection was very good, as was his power.

Ward boxed beautifully tonight, albeit against a very basic, one dimensional opponent.

Dave Allen’s opponent was a joke. He couldn’t knock my nan’s ornaments off her fireplace with a hook and Allen knew it. Showboating against a journeyman that couldn’t hurt him. The most laughable part of the evening for me was Macklin saying that Allen has great head movement :aaaaa: is Macklin on spice or something???

Galahad was quality. It was strange listening to the commentators reference Galahad’s past drug ban. They seem to pick and choose who they reference with that. They also pointed out several times that Galahad is a dirty fighter...yet Dillian Whyte does EXACTLY the same with his forearm and clinches. Anyway, Marrero came to win and it was a classy performance imo.

Missed the ladies fighting. Was gigging tonight and they were fighting when I was on stage.

Kell Brook is finished at the top level. We already knew that but tonight confirmed it for me. His feet weren’t getting him out of range quick enough and he copped a few shots, particularly to the body. He can still cut it to a decent level but the top end guys at both 147 & 154 would hurt him bad. A fight with Liam Smith is the right one at this stage of his career although I’d back Smith all day long.

Absolutely pathetic from Darch, this fight was a real low for British boxing.
