    Joshua would annihilate Fury.

Both Wilder and Fury's resumes are abysmal.

Ortiz was a couple of weeks shy of his 39th birthday the FIRST time he fought Bootleg D and 40 in the rematch. Let that sink in.

And Bermane ''B.Sick'' Stiverne was 36 y/o the first time he fought Bootleg D and 40 in the rematch.

These are the only two world class opponents Bootleg D has beaten in 43 fights.

Wilder can pass the Maricano record if he continues to avoid the likes of AJ, Whyte, Parker, Ruiz, Hunter, Povetkin etc.

I expect Wilder to continue to fight soft touches like Kownacki and Ajagba.

Walcott and Charles were far better than most of Wilder`s opponents though fighting a 6'8-6'9 fighter like Fury was something Marciano never had to do,, I don`t even know how many 6'4 fighters Marciano might have faced, Ortiz is the best 6'4 figthter that Wilder has faced though and is far better than anybody esle Wilder has fought except maybe Fury. Marciano would have beaten all of Wilder`s other opponents.

To be fair, just about every top fighter in the division is the wrong side of 30

    Agreed on resumes
Fury facing Wlad & Delboy makes his just about better than Wilders resume.

It is the PEAK of hypocrisy for a Wilder advocate to critique another's résumé. Louis isn't a top 5 Marciano win. If you knew what you were taking about, you know this. Rocky wasn't a cherry picker in the slightest, his entire title run was against the #1 contender, except one fight, which was the #2 contender! Walcott, Charles & Moore tool Ortiz, who's never beaten anyone, Marciano clobbered two top 10 ATGs.

No doubt ,especially around that time, i think Jersey Joe was a very ahead of his time heavyweight. Ali gets the plaudits yes rightly so for being able to dnace & float etc but no one seems to notice Joe ? I mean he gave joe loius s a good few tests dropping him twice when loius was at his peak....yet still managed to lose the bout?
rematch saw Jersey Joe getting KO'd but only after he managed to drop Loius again

PS: sorry about the thread hijack /rant

Rocky just beat who there was. Can't call him a cherry picker when he fought and beat everybody in his era. His biggest challengers got beaten twice.

Usyk has a long long way to go.... he's 33, he needs to get in the HW mix immediately... still waiting on his fight with Chisora that we've been told is on, but nothing official yet

The first Marciano-LaStarza fight was scored a draw, too.

New York used the rounds system.

One judge scored for Rocky. One scored for Roland. The third had it even, five rounds to five. But that judge was told to award one of the boxers the win on points, and, not surprisingly, gave Rocky the win ON POINTS (nine points to six points - in a 10-round fight - as reported in the papers the following day, whatever 9 points to 6 points means)... in a fight officially scored by rounds.

I say not suprisingly because Marciano's manager, Al Weill, was the matchmaker for Madison Square Garden, where the fight was held, and also served as the matchmaker for the IBC.

So, sure, change the rules on the spot so Rocky stays unbeaten.

    Nothing to see here.
