thats simply amazing he can make 135 without serious side effects if hes that big at his walk around weight. 24 hr weigh ins, huh. Its probably impossible to enforce but a more accurate method would be to move the weigh ins closer but not gonna happen

Chasing greatness= fighting at a weight class past optimal for your frame. People with bigger frames can move up more weight classes without looking like a blown up turtle.

Draining down to have a massive size advantage over all your opponents is similar to cherry picking low level opponents your size.

He does look massive for 135lbs. He's young and can do it for now, but soon he'll struggle. I didn't realise his frame was so big. His head size is huge too.

If you are the same height or shorter than Haney lol

Some Beta's like to exaggerate their height but that's ridiculous

If you make weight, you make weight.

And so what if hes about the same size as Crawford?

Crawford was a world champion at Lightweight himself!

When someone challenges you to step outside and fight them you don't ask them how much they weigh.

You run away and call the cops.

He’s so big, I’m surprised he doesn’t have more power. I’ve seen him hit guys flush with his biggest shots and not have the affect you would expect. He’s a good young fighter and I think the weight drain might be hurting his power. Let’s see how he comes back after the surgery. I’m curious to see if he can still make weight after the layoff.

If that is true (the guys with skills win more often), (which, is complete conjecture) its only because the size disparity in the overwhelming majority of all fights are kept within control and minimized via weightclasses.

If they opened up weightclasses into larger groupings, youd soon see how much size matters.

Every major fighting sport on the planet are broken into weight classes because size matters.

Fighters everywhere often kill themselves making weight, because size matters.

I dont see how or why people pretend they can quantify how much more skills matter than size.

Size matters a lot. And at the top level it can often impact a fight.

    Because everyone else does it!

If fighters fought at their "natural weight" they'd regularly be outweighed by 10lbs or more.

Its the same rules for everyone

It would be very detrimental for your health to fight guys 15lbs heavier than you too
