This vid shows a female MMA champ hurting a male lengend in the Muay Thai world, could she have beat him in the octagon and could other elite female MMA fighters beat Muay male champs in a MMA match up?

She might beat him at cleaning the house or washing the dishes but not in a fight. That's ridiculous.

He's training her, taking it easy on her. It's light sparring. I'm a fan of Weili, but not way she can beat elite male fighters.

The greatest female kickboxer of all time, Lucia Rijker got toyed and eventually knocked out by a low-level male fighter.

Real life is nothing like the movies.

Good point, but I feel Shevchenko is better than the woman on this vid, her speedy combo`s are awesome.

Does the male fighter have zero grappling skills? If so a talented, well rounded fighter like Nunes or Shevchenko could probably get a takedown and win on the mat. But other than that? Unlikely

Are you seriously saying a female MMA fighter could beat an elite male Thai boxer standing up? If so, you're of your rocker. That would be a slaughter.

I reckon a female MMA fighter could take a make Thai boxer down and sub him, though. But none would have a chance just striking.

You make a good point but Shevchenko may be the best technical fighter inall of MMA including the men surely that would be a problem for a Mauy Thai fighter and she`s great on the ground too, she`s more well rounded in an MMA fight than a Mauy Thai fighter would be, I believe the smaller the Muay Thai guy, the more of a chance she`d have, she`s something special.

There's no maybe about. If Nunes stood and traded with an elite male Thai boxer, the best she could hope for is not to get permanently injured.

You did see the rest of the video when he tapped her and she went down?
Now imagine him trying to really hurt her.
