If this gets signed this is going near the top of my list for the year. A very nice matchup and imo the type that boxing is sorely lacking in lately.

no where near strong enough.Ive always thought Bivols got great skills but doesn't look very strong, especially compared to Beterbiev..Man against Boy from the half way mark imo

Bivol will be harder to land cleanly on, gvosdy has no upper body movement, and stands stiff as a board, also some fighters take body shots better then others.

Bivol has already sparred Beterbiev. He knows what Beterbiev brings and he'll understand his own limitations.

Gvozdyk was a bigger version of Bivol and look what happened to him.....

You're talking about a guy with HW power vs a blown up 168lb fighter.

    Only one conclusion....

    Beterbiev late TKO.

I'd without hesitation pick Gvozdyk to dominate and KO Bivol. Beterbiev does the same thing he did to The Nail to Bivol, only quicker, because Gvozdyk moves better, hits harder, is faster, and has a far better chin. Beterbiev KO6.

Gvozdyk showed a great chin against Beterbiev. He was down 6 times (3 were scored as slips) and got back up every time apart from the last time. He was, on the night, a fully hydrated 190lb man who got ragdolled and broken down by a stronger man.

Bivol would win rounds but its only a matter of time before bodyshots slow him down and Beterbiev opens up his guard and stops him.

Remember how he ragdolled the much bigger Prieto and knocked him out in 1 single round? Brutal.

BTW, Bivol's last opponent - Lenin Castillo was KO'd by Beterbiev in the sparring just before his fight against Bivol.
Bivol spent 12 rounds against him, he even lost couple rounds.

Bivol has the tools to win this, the unknown is if Beterbiev can enforce his will on Bivol with strength and agression

Beterbiev is a stone killer and is so strong. This would be a tough fight for Bivol because if the size and strength difference. Bivol is a better boxer overall and has power. He’s also a smart fighter and has a good gas tank. Beterbiev is a brutal puncher, especially to the body. This was the key to victory in the Gvoz fight. I think his body punching would be Bivols biggest concern. AB is so disciplined and fighting so well. Bivol is young and can fight but I think the size would make it a very difficult fight.
