I think this I a bridge too far for Manny especially at welterweight. I think Rodriguez might stop him late on here. Thoughts?

Rodriguez would box his ears off and Pacquaio wouldn’t be able to hurt Rodriguez as his chin was made of cement. Rodriguez is a nightmare head to head for most of the all-time great welterweights much less the smaller modern dudes who came from Featherweight and lightweight.

Well I can only remember seeing Manny face just one slick boxer with speed and defense in his career...and look how that turned out

Rodriguez isn’t really a “defensive” boxer though. He used his legs a lot but he was constantly throwing. He had an amazing chin though so the rare clean hits Pacquaio could get in wouldn’t do much. Rodriguez was able to beat up elite middleweights whereas Manny didn’t really beat too many special welterweights. I do tend to throw the Mayweather fight out though. It’s far from his prime and the prolonged wait for the fight (Mayweathers design) was always going to favor Mayweathers style.

Not picking Pacquaio, as I think Rodriguez easily beats him just saying Rodriguez was more an aggressive boxer than anything.
