Wilder is quite possibly the most painful boxer to listen to after Floyd Mayweather. Nothing he says makes any sense. Constantly contradicts himself. Rarely get a straight answer out of him. Always looking to get out a soundbite. It's quite embarrassing. I wish someone would pull him to one side and make him realise what he's saying.

Warren has confirmed this morning on the radio (talkSPORT) that the loser has the option of activating a re-match clause for, I think he said, June or July, with the winner hopefully facing Joshua at the years end.

Which would require Usyk to step aside should such a unification for Undisputed Champion take place as I cannot see Joshua, after fighting Pulev late May / early June, fighting in Sept and then having this end of year showdown.

Why Joshua couldn't have fought Pulev late March / early April thus allowing an early August showdown with Usyk which then frees up December I'll never know.

    Sigh!

He should fight Pudding Pulev in the Sky car park tomorrow, get the pudding out quickly then on to the real fights.

I have a feeling Fury is going southpaw for most of this fight. I'd been thinking it for a while and then saw a few clips of him on the pads with Sugarhill where he was in the southpaw stance. He's done it before in a rematch to devastating effect.

Rematch clause means nothing if the fight is one sided. I wouldn't bank on a third fight as it really depends on how close the 2nd fight is as well as how it does commercially.

Which fighter did he beat so devastatingly in a southpaw rematch? And do you think that fight is comparable to a rematch against Deontay Wilder?

Blame the people who bought it. The Ruiz Joshua rematch did more business in the UK than any fight, ever.

I don’t know. I like Baracuta Harrington’s. At three hundred quid a pop they’re not something I buy all the time. But I’m not losing the plot about the price. They’re a business, not a charity.

Had to google what baracuta harringtons were ha! yeh they are a business but boxing is a sport people love, so also you cant blame people for getting a bit irritated if they feel ripped off or even priced out.

Just for once bud, have some empathy for the consumer instead of the business. You don’t need to explain to me why it’s viable for them to rip us off.

I know but there are loads of sports people love that cost a lot of money to watch.

PPV arguments are done to death now. They’ve been around for decades and they’re not going away.

Are you being ripped off is the question.

Pints of beer are around a fiver these days. A train ticket costs three figures across the country. And don’t get me started on decent clothes. You get ripped off every single day all the time, or you accept how much things cost and deal with it.

It’s a non-starter hoping things across the board were cheaper. We all think that.

I’ve streamed a fair few fights over the years but as a rule I do tend to buy the big fight PPV’s. For my sins, I spend £3.75 a day in Starbucks on a vanilla latte - that’s £26.25 a week. I’m in no position to complain about paying £24.99 for a nights entertainment and watching something I genuinely love.
